Okay for regular use, but not good for solar setups
I used this wire for a small solar project, and it didn’t perform as expected. It drops nearly 50% of the current between my panel and battery, which really cuts down charging efficiency. For solar systems, voltage and current losses matter a lot, so you need thicker, low-resistance cable. That said, this wire is perfectly fine for normal electrical work — small DC circuits, LED lighting, and other low-power applications. It’s flexible, easy to handle, and solders well. Just don’t expect great results for long solar runs or high-current setups.
