Bringing Miles into the normal Marvel world and having interactions with Peter were great. Some odd choices with Ganke conflict as well as it felt some sour choices of other character writing (Grandma felt a little too much of a stereotype and having Danika obsess over black skin were weird choices), but Miles himself is very likable and a great balance of high school drama and superhero angst that Parker goes through.

I bought this for my six-year-old son so he could try a comic instead of a book. He always thought he would like comics, but he doesn't. He prefers chapter books. Me, on the other hand, I read this comic and thought the story was engaging. The pictures were alluring. The glossy pages made turning a luxury. I loved it! I imagine any Spiderman fan would. Even though my son didn't like it, the price being so reasonable didn't feel like a loss at all.

Bought this for my 9 year old nephew and he loved it! He couldn't put it down. We're planning on getting the other volumes for him.

The story was okay. The dialogues are not too complicated, so it is perfect for kids also. I bought that because I want to be better in english, but it was a little bit too easy for me. I do not think I will buy any other part of this series, even so I enjoyed reading this part.
