I use these to plug my water hose for my rv. Keeps stuff from getting in. I would probably prefer a brass option, but for the money these work great!

These plugs are great. They screw on easily, reusable plug for the end of a disconnected hose. They prevent bugs from clogging your hose. No more rubber banding & plastic bags on the end of my hoses.

These plugs worked perfectly for my needs as I closed my RV for the winter to keep my buried hoses sealed after I blew the water lines out.

Used them to cap off my drip irrigation after seasonal blowout to prevent critters from blocking the lines.

Keeps bugs out during long term storage

I bought these to close off garden hoses from bugs and dirt for the off season. Please note the following: 1. THESE ARE NOT GARDEN HOSE THREAD!! They are 3/4" pipe thread. However, they will still fit the female end of a garden hose if you are careful not to cross-thread them. BE CAREFUL. They are soft plastic. 2. They are cheaply made out of soft plastic. 3 out of 5 I received had casting defects e.i. plastic flashing or deformities. 3. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!! Finger tighten on a rubber washer till they seat and then no more than 1/4 turn or they will leak if over tightened. They are soft plastic. I tested all of them with full municipal water pressure and none leaked, at least temporarily. 4. They are overpriced for what they are. But I didn't need a 30 pack I found and some others are priced even higher. 5. For what I needed they are 5 stars. 1-2 stars for being advertised as garden hose end caps. They are not garden hose thread but most likely they will still fit. 2 stars for quality. Overall I would give them a generous 3 stars. They are worth a try and free Amazon returns makes it easy if they don't work. I'm keeping mine.
