My vga display is getting detected as duplicate of hdmi 1. ha anyone seen this? can i get support from the manufacturer?

When connecting dual monitors or triple monitors, the maximum resolution of each monitor will be limited to 1920 x 1080@60Hz. You also need to download the driver and install it on your computer.

Will this work with Dell Latitude 5470 or 5480 labtop?

For any device like this and others, check for new drivers! If you have Lenovo/Dell or HP business-class machine, use their tools as well, not just Windows Update. For example, Lenovo - uses the System Update app, Dell - dell command update. Many times you need to update your device prior to adding one like this.

The maximum resolution per monitor will be limited to 1920 x 1080@60Hz. This USB-C port does not support data transfer, it does not support charging the laptop, it is powered only by the docking station.
