This is an impressive set of hobby knives. I build scale models and use many sizes and blade types. This set has been a great addition to my tools. The blades are uniformly sharp and strong. The tips have not broken. The handles are aluminum and hold the blades well. The variety is nice, providing options. The ruler is straight, sturdy and easy to read. Outstanding value.

Still have them love them

I purchased this set because I needed some less common blade types. For the price, it can't be beat. You get extra handles and plenty of sharp blades. I have plenty of handles around the house already, but having these extras allows me to have multiple blades ready for different purposes. (My use case is building Gunpla kits.) You get so many blades in this set that it does not make sense to purchase them on their own. Each blade type comes in its own plastic container, and it comes with a nice plastic container to keep them all together. I definitely recommend this set.

I got these because I can never find my x-acto handle when I need it. The extra blades were a bonus, though I've already found some of them useful. Convenient to have multiple handles for different blade shapes. My single complaint is that the collet that screwed into the handle and holds the blade tends to loosen after a bit of use and needs to be tightened up occasionally. Not a deal breaker, but a little annoying, and highlights the dead-average quality of their manufacturing. A rubber O-ring where the collet meets the handle might help, as an at-home fix.

Nice set of blades. My kids would still up my set for their crafts. Bought this set as a replacement and the different types of blades are very useful. I used them for my electronic hobbies with those microscopic connectors. Would buy again.

I was looking for replacement blades only as the Grizzly set I have didn't include the 1/4" chosen replacement I use to remove wooden pieces from laser cut boards. They do less cutting into the piece to be removed as they're sharpened on one side. I found them at a high price. Continued search showed just the blades in these pack for a dollar more so getting the nice case, the ruler and three loaded knives for less was a no brainer. I rec'd them today and switched one knife to the chisel and will use the one removed to the knife I have with the bad chisel blade. Another plus for this set. Some of the other blades will come in handy as I'm doing minestures now that I'm too old to build furniture. I may even buy another set to have in my wood shop, it's dollhouse building in there.
