Will the lid fit on the summit bottle?

I don't think it will. Most of my simple modern bottles have interchangeable lids but this one seems like a smaller lid. It's a good cup though.

Is this metal coated?

No- it seems to be a thick paint or resin and I suppose it could be over metal. When you look inside, it's aluminum. It actually is a really good product. She bangs it around in her schoolbox all day and it never leaks. Also keeps ice water icy. She says hot coffee placed at 6:30 AM is still hot at noon. Worth the money.
