Is anyone else having issues with the fingerprint scanner with this product?

I've seen quite a few comments both ways. I just installed this on my Galaxy S21 5G, and made sure to setup my finger prints after I put on the screen protector. After 1 day, I haven't had any trouble with it reading my finger print. It's possible I'm pushing harder than I would need to without the protector on (as others said), but I installed it as soon as my phone came out of the box so I have nothing to compare it to, but I don't feel as though I'm having to intentionally push down hard, so it hasn't bothered me at all. We'll see if the function diminishes with time.

Will this work for samsung s21 ultra?

If it does not say ultra it is not for ultra. The screen size is a big indicator for the s21's when you search for cases and protectors. each has a different size screen. The regular s21 5g is a 6.2 inch screen.
