El Yucateco Chile Chipotle Hot Sauce, Authentic Mexican Chili Sauce, Bold Flavor, 5 fl oz, Pack of 1

This would go well with enchiladas. It has a nice, smoky smell. It pours well. Along with all of the El Yucateca sauces that I’ve had, this also has a BOLD, spicy flavor. I like it! It’s not for those who think that Taco Bell hot sauce is spicy, but for my peeps out there who like pronounced flavor with a nice moderate heat, this is your go-to.

So I enjoy most of El Yacs products either at home or at my favorite Mexican franchise. This arrived damaged but I didnt loose that much so do to my addiction I am using it. Good stuff with a tinge of sweetness.

My husband and I had liked using chipotle sauce found at our local grocery store and they no longer carry that particular type. This one is really good, but it is initially a little bit sweet to the taste and then it has the heat after affect. it’s a little bit pricey.

I wonder if they have a hot version? This is extremely tasty sauce. If you like spicy, this is a 1 on the heat scale. Buy it for the smokey chipotle tomato and onion flavor. Put a few drops of something hotter or eat a fresh pepper on the side for heat.

What can I say? I LOVE El Yucateco hot sauces, and have tried every variety. All varieties I had tried, up to this point, were variations of habanero pepper sauces, each with a distinct flavor all their own. I love chipotle peppers (smoked jalapenos), and given how much I liked other El Yucateco hot sauces, I thought I would try this. El Yucateco chipotle hot sauce is delicious - tastes like a sweet, tangy, slightly spicy BBQ sauce - but it is not at all what I expected. For a 'hot sauce', there is no heat whatsoever. My expectation? Chipotles are smoked jalapenos. Even jalapenos have a fairly decent level of heat. In my opinion, whatever was added to this chipotle hot sauce, rendered it sweeter than hot, and the consistency of a good BBQ sauce. Of course at $5.00 a bottle, it is not to economical to use it as a BBQ sauce for say ribs - and I would say it would make an excellent BBQ sauce for ribs! The long and short of it: delicious flavor, but if you are looking for the heat of a true hot sauce, forget it. ANY buffalo wing sauce, or even tobasco, is far hotter than this sauce.

I discovered this sauce at one of our favorite taco and burrito places. I was in luck to find it online so I could have a bottle at home. And the sauce is great, and my only complaint is that when it arrived, the cap was cracked and leaking and I had to repair it. I know stuff happens and I’m not sure at what point the cap was damaged. I don’t recall a seal being on it either.

It's got a bit of a sweet flavor profile, but it is very tasty. Nice gentle kick but not too hot. I personally really like the flavor or chipotle with beef.

Mi hijo la pidió y ni se fijó en el precio. Esa salsa vale cuando mucho 30 pesos, y nos las vendieron en más de 500!! Venía embarrada de la misma salsa. O sea se sale por algún lado. Y marca que NO SE PUEDE DEVOLVER!!! ESTOY FURIOSAAAA Me obligan a poner una estrella para poder enviar la opinión. Le doy Cero estrellas
