-The Good- Completely changes the feel of the car. Looks great. Remote is available for quick control (On/Off, small range of solid lights (9), and brightness). App provides TOTAL control of the lights. So many possibilities of different colors and sequence of illumination it's virtually unlimited. My head is spinning 😁👍🏽. Installation - Much easier than I thought (2022 Honda Accord). Recommend laying all the lights out and finding good surfaces to attach to. Ensure the wires reach and can be hidden whenever possible for a clean look. Attach adhesive surface as the ABSOLUTE last step. Check that lights light up, wires reach, and hide wires before attaching LED strips to car. -The Bad- App - There are a couple of different options for download so it's not crystal clear, but still not too hard to figure out. App Setup - Not completely bad on the product but my era of not paying close attention to the model number I purchased. If you don't put the correct model number in the app then it's as if the phone and app just can't find each other for the Bluetooth connection. And you are forced to connect the lights to your phone through the app. You cannot go through your phone's settings like you do for ever other Bluetooth enabled product. Adhesion - I saw many complaints in other reviews before I purchased so I planned accordingly. I bought some Alien Tape from Lowes just in case I would need some extra stickiness to keep the lights in place. It's been a couple of weeks since I installed the lights. Of the 4 light strips the only one that occasionally looses it grip and falls is the one under the drivers seat. After it fell the 2nd time I used the old Alien Tape (double sided). Even with the Alien tape (which is really sticky) the strip still slowly becomes dislodeged. Translation--> The adhesion for this product is not terrible, but it's not great either. You have to really try to find a good even, smooth surface to attach too. Under my seats there is cloth and I can't really see the surface, only feel for a good spot to attach. The strip under the back of the passenger seat has held with no problem or Alien Tape. -Ugly- None -Summary- Truth be told I would give a 4.5 if I could but decided to round up. I actually already recommended this product to my wife so there you go. I'm putting my personal safety and well-being on the line to recommend this product to others.

these car strips are amazing! i had the older version from 4 years ago and amazon prompted me that there was a newer version available and it was this one! the functionality is so much better and customizable! bluetooth was easy to connect to my phone. the lights are durable however the adhesive doesnt stick the best without some pressure but i just used some velcro from my drawer to help it out. the lights get bright and you can adjust the brightness if its too low or high for your eyes. you can also chose from other peoples light patterns that they created themselves! you can also make your own patterns which i love the most or you can just chose one solid color! decent size to get your care glowing at night!

After taking my time unkinking the lines and eyeballing routing of the wires and positions of the strips, it took me around 40 minutes to mount the strips, route the wires so they were hidden, download the Smartphone App, and get the lights running. I went with the 4 LED strip kit as I rarely have passengers. I installed this in a Kia Carnival MPV and used the 12V connector on the rear of the center console as the power source. One drawback was that the included adhesive attachment strips on the LED lines failed after just a few minutes even after careful cleaning of the attachment locations with alcohol swabs. I know the directions say to secure the ends of the LED strips with ties or screws but that was not an option for me as both ends of the LED strips ended up on void areas. Luckily, I had on hand some HD dual sided mounting tape (search Amazon for "deli double sided 120") that I overlayed on their tape then attached the LED strips where I needed them. The HD tape is wide enough that the strip can be cut in half lengthwise to use with 2 LED strips. Worked great. The footwell lights are so bright that I had to adjust them down a bit. There are also lots of different lighting patterns to experiment with on the Smartphone app. This setup effectively provides the same type of ambient lighting (footwell only) as the dealer installed option for a huge cost savings and you get lot more effects including music sensing.

We have 4 Govee lamps and saw this kit and bought it. Just got done installing and once they are installed they look tremendous. Install was ok, my advise, spend the time and tuck the wires. I will say this, you have to start in the center of the vehicle ! You can't go off to the side if you tap the fuse box. The wires are not long enough. Just installed them in a 2023 GMC Elevation CREW CAB and had to run the wires under the front seats and then under then plastic panels. The wires are not long enough to go under plastic from back. I had to install from the back set. GMC has no Cig lighter plugs, but they do have a 120V plug so i bought a 120V to 12V plug to cig lighter adapter, plugged it in and it worked. Again, mounted in the back center and ran the wires under front seats. The other issue is the tape, it's weak, after reading the reviews, I went out and bought 3M double sided tape and used it. The drivers seats on both sides do not have rods to wire tire the lights so I had to stick them on the fabric for now. I can see myself using a hot glue gun glue to make them stick. Overall they are really nice and the use of the APP is 100 times better than the switch is comes with. For the price, you can't beat these lights. 2-8-25: bought another set for my Tundra. Works well, looks great but as stated above, the tape does not stick. I had to put Loctite 60 sec glue on it for it to hold. It should come with a stronger 3m tape or a small container of glue/cement. Also, before you mount, active the lights with the App and figure out which lights are the front and then the rear. The app is a little tough too regarding the colors and the light but play with it and you’ll figure it out For the money, they are very nice and work well

Installed these in my Audi Q8 e-tron, which has basic white LED interior lighting, but I like having footwell lights on all the time while driving at night. Like others have said, the adhesive didn't hold for long, so I found some small screws and used the mounting holes on the ends to attach these to the vehicle. No, I'm not flashing these with my news/talk or classical music stations, I'll leave that for you youngsters and your hip-hop stations. (Although I'll turn to the flashing mode temporarily just to make my young adult children groan.) The ability to change to any color I want and adjust brightness is great. I find the deep blueish hues to work best for constant on while driving and not distracting/reflective. I don't use the hardwired remote and just leave these on all the time, even in daylight. LED draws very little power. I found the app to be easy to use and configure the lights the way I want them - I just set it and forget it. I paid under $25; price is higher now. Overall, a pretty low-cost way to add interior lighting to your vehicle.

The setup for these in a 2019 hyundai veloster was a little tough but i prevailed, first off i routed them so i had the power on the driver side, i then fed the passenger side through the center console section behind the panels, after i figured out the orientation for the wires as i wanted the wire to be tucked up under the center console panel, then run along to the back, i then zip tied the front lights and stuck the back ones to the bottom of the seat ( 3m included on the back was not strong enough, because it was like a fur texture, they weren't going to stay on that anyway, had to hot glue). Next i tackled power, i wanted to not show any wires, so i went with a fuse tap, very simple, splice the cigarete power line, run red to the fuse tap, black will need to be grounded, find a spot with a screw connected to the body of the car and use that, i suggest you get a spade wire connector, now find a fuse that isn't connected to anything important, in my case i used the cigarette lighter fuse (i know ironic) pop the fuse out place it in the fuse tap, now make sure you use the same exact amp fuse for the other side, as this will allow consistent current and one fuse won't be holding all the load and pop soon. After that plug in and mount controller somewhere out of sight as the app works fine, once you set it up, it will remember your last setting, it just does a boot check where it cycles through rgb colors for two seconds then it goes to whatever you set last. All in all great kit, not too hard to setup and the colors are amazing, super bright very responsive. Next is the Starlight headliner kit.

The lights themselves work great, are bright but not distracting, and have lots of options. You get more possibilities from the app but they also work with the controls right out of the box. HOWEVER the adhesive 100% does not stick. I tried on every flat-ish surface in the four footwells and could not get it to stay put. I ultimately just used some adhesive Velcro I already had for my computer setup to stick them in and am hoping for the best when summer comes. It seems a very easy fix the manufacturer could make to just apply stronger adhesive. I appreciate that they also send zip ties and that there are screw holes, but there’s no clear safe place to screw these into in the car.

I love Govee. And these did not disappoint! Another great Govee product. Amazing value for the money. Easy to install. And the double sided tape is very strong. Easy to use with the app. Extremely bright!

I was a bit worried at furst, but after receiving the product I felt very confident and comfortable that this is very high quality product. It was well packaged, very easy to install, and went into operation very smoothly. Bluetooth connection worked fine. The App appears to be very versatile. It's really a great product and many thanks to the manufacturer, seller, and Amazon!

The 3M tape is easy to remove much better to put the good double tape
