I’ve been wearing this sleep mask consistently for almost a year. I’ll go into more detail on my experience with it below but will start what you need to know. In short, it will transform your sleep for the better. ============================ Pros Exceptionally comfortable Almost always stays on for the whole night Makes your sleep more restful Cons Can take a few moments of trial-and-error adjustment to achieve a complete light blackout as you get ready for sleep Can be a little too warm in the Summer months Needs frequent washing or dry cleaning (consider buying a spare to wear while your usual mask is being washed) ============================ Since I’ve began wearing this mask I’ve been surprised in a great way how comfortable it is. I joke with friends that sleeping is one of the few or only places where modern life can’t place demands on you. I’ve always liked sleeping in a dark room, to me the darkness is like a barrier between you and the real world. This mask took that comforting feeling to the next level. I thought it would be unnerving to experience total blackout but it’s not, it’s very comforting. Yes, it’s always dark when you close your eyes but the mask takes that much further. I always feel more rested after a night wearing the eye mask. I agree with other reviewers that the mask coverage of your ears add to the cocooning effect. When paired with a comfortable pillow, I’ve always found the mask to provide a soothing effect that makes me look forward to sleep even more that I already did. I don’t wear the mask at its tightest size setting. Yes, it provides a better fit when a little tighter but I did find the mask than began exerting a little pressure of my forehead, eyes and ears, loosening the Velcro slightly prevents this but still gives me a total blackout. When the mask was too tight I found myself waking up during the night to loosen it. After some research, I’ve read that the less light that your eyes “see” while sleeping helps your body to produce the correct amount of melatonin during the night to provide the proper recovery benefits of sleep. I only discovered the benefits of wearing a sleep mask from my new girlfriend. I was curious why she wore it when it was time for sleep during our first night together. She explained she preferred the total blackout offered by the mask and always slept better while wearing it. I accepted this but over time I was curious to try it too. She offered me her spare mask she keeps while her usual mask is being washed. She said “Try it for a few days.” Even though her masks are pink, I accepted her offer. She even helped me put it on for the first time. It felt really nice when she gently placed it over my eyes and adjusted the Velcro several times until it offered the perfect fit and a total blackout. When my head touched my pillow I could feel exactly why she prefers it. The mask gently cushions your head but the padding “re-plumps” the next morning. I was struck by how soothing the mask was to wear with the soft silky padding covering my ears, adding to a very comforting cocooning effect. It reminded me of being on a camping trip and when its extra cold I sleep in my down jacket while wearing with its super soft, generously padded hood. With the full blackout experience in place, when I woke up in the morning after the first night of wearing it, I felt more rested. The second night was even better. I ordered my own set of masks in Aqua green on the 3rd day with them arriving just 2 days later. I almost always sleep on my sides, but the masks Velcro strap still gently cushions your head if you sleep on your back. I still found it extremely comfortable in that position. I prefer this type of mask since its basic and doesn’t include any means of playing music. The thick padding inside the silk can get a little warm in the Summer since it seems provide a sight insulating effect but I try to have the room cooler in the Summer if I can and to slightly loosen the mask a bit to help with this. Having to send the mask for dry cleaning every 2 to 3 weeks is an extra expense but I feel its worth it. One other potential issue is you may become too used to wearing an eye mask for sleeping. When I was away travelling for business at short notice, I didn’t pack mine and it took some getting used to not wearing it. I’ve also found the mask to really help when its brighter in the morning, you still get the benefit of the darkness until it’s time for you to wake up. Very useful for a weekend lie in. I’m a total convert to wearing a sleep mask. Probably not many guys wear one. I also realise silk sleep masks are generally intended for women, but any non-pink colour can be worn by a guy. Even when I wore my girlfriend’s pink mask, its colour was never an issue for me. I’ve worn my own mask every night since buying it and love the better sleep it gives me in return.

Comfortable, blocks about any sunlight. I normally start stirring early morning but this has helped me sleep in longer. Not to mention it helps massively with sleep lines. I started getting under eye circles where I'd lay on my side, this has helped alleviate the lines and almost removed the issue entirely. Is it silk, as advertised? Honestly, I’m not sure it is….thats the only downside.

A really nice soft mask. Actually helps me sleep so much better as completely blocks light out, and feels cool to the touch. I suffer with migraines and this mask allows me to have a cold eye mask on underneath this, the adjustable strap is, I feel, better than the elastic ones. Soft, cool, washes very well ( I pop it in the washing machine) Love it.

As a small headed, light sleeping, tiny eared womam I reccomend this. I have tried so many sleep masks and 2 things always happen, I get sore ears and it is tangled in my hair and off my eyed when I wake up to bright sunlight. The bands always rub my ears, the clips dig in, they just won't stay on. This stayed on all night, it was welcomed with no irritation to mears by a crappy strap and it had enough velcro and stick to stay in place, my hair wasn't notted, it blocked out a good amount of light and I wasn't being woken up by my neighbours security light that goes off every 10 minute or every time the wind blew her lovely palm plants to activate the bright light that wakes me up constantly....the curse of being a light sleeper is even lights wake you up. I couldn't feel I was wearing it and even woke up forgetting I put it on, I was relieved. I woukd buy this over and over, by far the best facemask I've ever had. I got the pink (i was worried it might be too light, as I usually buy black masks) but it was PERFECT! I am going to order another for my twin sister, she also has the same issue with the light sleeping but my mum always said she had a much bigger head! 😆 Edit: I recently had surgery and had to spend a few nights in hospital, amd I can honestly say I am so happy I had this mask, life saver. I was able to put plugs in and sleep despite all the machines and lights amd noise. Folds up small for your bag. I will say shop around because I saw these on Temu for £4, just saying!

EFFICACE J'ai un sommeil très léger qui ne souffre aucun bruit et lumière. La forme de mon nez ne m'a jamais permis de trouver un masque de sommeil qui obstrue complètement la lumière. J'ai enfin trouvé le masque adapté à mon visage, la lumière est complètement bloquée, pour preuve je ne vois pas la différence quand mon conjoint allume ou éteint la lumière. CONFORTABLE Le masque est en soie très douce ce qui le rend extrêmement agréable à porter. Je ne vois pas trop de différence sur ma peau ou mes cheveux, à part les avantages apportés par des nuits reposantes grâce à un sommeil de qualité. PRATIQUE La bandeau se ferme avec un système de scracth qui permet de dormir dans n'importe quelle position sans que cela n'occasionne de gêne, pour autant il tient très bien et ne se détache pas. Le format bandeau présente un avantage qui pourrait paraître anecdotique mais qui n'est pas des moindres pour les sommeils capricieux comme les miens : il empêche également les bouchons d'oreille de se retirer et de tomber. ENTRETIEN Je le lave avec des tissus de couleur similaire avec le programme lavage délicat et une lessive spéciale laine et soie, puis séchage à plat. C'est simple, je l'emmène partout, je ne peux plus m'en passer

La compré para usarla en verano ya que viene de día más pronto, pero al final la usé también todo el invierno. Muy cómoda y suave, ahora me he acostumbrado y ya casi no puedo dormir sin ella. Me la llevo a todas partes y ya llevo más de un año con ella y está como nueva. La lavo cada semana a mano con jabón de Marsella o el de prendas delicadas y se seca muy rápidamente. Excelente compra.

Comodo, morbido, tessuto liscio e luminoso in un colore bellissimo! Non ha accessori che possono dar fastidio durante il sonno. Molto pratico da usare. È arrivato in una bella confezione di carta con bustina trasparente annessa. Assolutamente lo consiglio!!
