I have purchased these cards in the past and like them, but it appears the cardstock quality recently changed - now it is much more rough.

What is the question? Why are the index cards rough? Because they are index cards. They are not to be used for wedding invitations or invites to the White House. They are to be used for notes and then filed or thrown away.

What weight is the paper?

Thank you for your interest in our Mead Index Cards. The weight of the paper is 90#.

Are the cards easy to hole punch?

Yes, I used the cards to make tags for our Giving tree at church. The tags went home and returned with the gifts. The tags were strong enough for much handling.

Can you use these in a printer?

Yes if your printer will take 3 by 5 inch card placement, I just put mine in a stack and print off addresses.
