Great Sunscreen
I'd never had a pink-nosed horse before I got Deputy and realized quickly that he needed UV protection. His nose broke out into blisters from the sun. After some research, I decided to buy this and I'm so glad I did! Not only did it soothe the blisters to the point where he would approach me to get it slathered on, but it cleared them up fast. I put it on him every day UV is high and even when he is out grazing under the sun for hours he hasn't gotten them again. Can't speak for its other uses though but this has been a life saver.

A great product for use on sun sensitive 🐎
I had almost given up on how to help my horse! Even with daily grooming and lotions I could not get rid of scabs on his hind feet. I began to realize it was probably sun sensitivity as it had been very dry here, so certainly wasn't from mud! Iordered Equiderma because it contained zinc oxide and I was hoping it would give protection from the sun. Although it has a strange texture and smell, it did the job and my horse's feet are finally improving! Very glad I found this product.

Quality stuff, highly recommend
Smells a little minty, thick like creamy raw butter, works. Bought this for a white horse of ours that started getting a bad sunburn rash on his face and it worked within days. Noticed one of our other horses had raised sores on her face as well so I lathered it on and she leaned into me and closed her eyes while I applied it. She’s not that kind of horse. She rates this stuff 5 stars too. Rashes/sunburns on both horses gone.

Not mixed properly or separated and hardened
The top inch or so was soft, smooth. But about an inch down it turned very hard like a bar of soap. I had already used quite a bit of the soft part thinking it was all like that. Tried mixing it. I could break up the hard part but not enough to actually mix it. What happened to it?

Equiderma Zinc Paste
Works great on my horse’s sunburned nose. I mix it with Blue Lizard sunscreen for added protection. It heals the sunburned spots up well.

Amazing results!
Amazing product! My Arabian mare had developed a scaly, ulcerated sore on her heel from the winter mud. Nothing seemed to work and I could tell it was painful for her. After one application I noticed a significant difference 3 days later with less swelling and healing of the ulcerated area. By the third application you could almost not notice the area. Tips for application: remove as many scabs as possible with warm soaks, dry throughly and then apply a generous layer of “goop”. Allow to mostly dry if going back to pasture.
