Soloflex Whole Body Vibration (WBV) Platform

I am very happy since I started using this product. It feels like going to the gym. I also get very deep sleep at night. It's rejuvenating to the whole body. I use it after office hours then I get some strength to cook for the family. I recommend it to everyone with or with out arthritis. It's awesome for the joints. Has plenty of space to do the work out. I highly recommend this product.

I didn't see any improvement using this board, and although the physical therapist said it was fine, the surgeon later said that it may be why my ankle implant failed. There is a warning enclosed with the info. I don't think it has any value, disregarding my implant issue.

I got more of a work out from this item than I expected, but I purchased the product with the idea in mind that it would be an addition to my work out arsenal, not the sole item of my work outs. I am a little stiff and sore the next day if I use it for over 10 minutes (10 minutes is recommended usage time length), and the DVD that accompanied the platform is helpful because it provides additional routines to try. Be warned, the board is noisy, and the highest setting is the first number on the dial so if you want to start out slow, turn the dial all the way to the right and then turn it slowly left to the vibration you want. I like it.

I was very pleased when I received my ABW. Being overweight and a late beginner at exercise, the ABW gave me the confidence to continue exercising in safety, especially since I would be doing it "at home & alone". The video is extremely helpful in getting started and doing "the right thing" so as NOT to over-exercise. The surprise was that it really was possible to overdo it! Thanks!

I am a bit leery about purchasing this product mainly because there is a chance that several of the positive reviews have been stacked by Soloflex or those whom may gain from a favorable review. This review (among a few more) have been repeated nearly verbatim (sometimes fully verbatim) in other sites such as ePinions and more). Now, this may be just a very loyal and happy customer sharing the good news with others -- but, I think one must remain suspicious. I, for one, wish they sold this item at a retail store so i could test it out without worrying about being disappointed and charged shipping (to & fro) plus a potential "restocking fee" for my troubles. The bio mechanics lab at my school does have a Power Plate model that has proven itself as being effective. Power Plate machines deserve all the praise and research benefits espoused by countless medical studies. Yet, it certainly has the hefty price tag to match it. So, this $295 Soloflex is a VERY VERY tempting option should it prove to be as beneficial. If I do decide to take the dive, then I will surely write an honest review. For now, those of you reading these reviews may want to remain cautious. They may be as reliable as those "unsolicited positive reviews" yelled out by the peanut gallery at a traveling side show sales wagon.

I use the soloflex almost every evening for 15 minutes. I have had back surgery and have found the soloflex to help me relax. For the price I think it is a good value.

I can't explain why it is effective, but I know that after two 10 minute sessions my knee stiffness disapeared and my leg and back pains are gone

Basically a mini-earthquake machine, that rattles the one on it--everything from a low buzz to a stronger rattle that makes me feel like my eyeballs are about to fall out if I'm watching the television. Said by some to help increase bone development--I got it for my pre-osteopenia (pre-osteopororis). Having not had a scan since, I don't know if it worked. But it is good for relaxation (just lay down on it and put on rattle, and zone).
