This works really well and it not just a fan - but is a tad noisy for trying to sleep through !
I have been putting off getting an aircon unit for years, but our house like many others becomes an oven at night and I become a grump without sleep ..... I bought this (and its not that cheap - and I am tight !) with high hopes and to be honest it has not let me down. Had it a few weeks now - so am happy to give my thoughts ! I am confused by people reviewing it negatively as 'just a fan' - does your aircon in the car or any meeting room etc go down any lower than 16 degrees? No - do you feel cooler in your car with aircon on - yes - same applies to this. It definitely cools the air - as it should. It is not just a fan. If you switch it to fan setting - then yes its just a fan but you need to choose the cooling option - the snowflake. that's the aircon setting. This is NOT an aircooler (passing air over water etc), it is a proper aircon unit. If i start the aircon running and close the door on my substantial sized bedroom apprx 13ft x 11ft it makes it massively cooler after a few minutes, if you leave it running for a good hour you'll walk in and feel chilly. If you want to cool a larger area it will take it down a degree or few - but won't have such a noticable impact until you go into another area of house house and its back to being suffocatingly hot! You'll realise then the work the aircon is putting in.... When you set it up initially the hose is a bit of a faff, and no its not that long sadly. Otherwise its really simple to use - the buttons are obvious (except for those who are only using it as a fan it seems). cons are that its pretty heavy I couldn't carry it upstairs (i am a bit of a petite lady though!) - it has castors but they don't run that well on carpet. Its kinda noisy - there's no way i'd sleep through it unfortunately ... if you like white noise you'll be fine. So it goes on to cool the room initially then i switch it off. The remote is simple and works as it should. Not tried Wifi as don't really need to use it tbh.

Netta AC Unit
Firstly, 🙌🏼 a moment of appreciation for the Amazon delivery guy who offered to haul this up to my first floor flat, coz it's HEAVY - I have a degenerative spinal condition & I couldn't even lift it off the ground. 😳 I'd spent hours trying to choose an AC unit within budget. My flat is top floor, south facing, with vaulted ceilings & no loft to absorb the heat, so every summer it turns into the 7th level of hell. 🥵🥵 Finally, I settled on this one. Is it loud? Yes, but you get used to it. Could I sleep with it on? Yes. It's positioned maybe 1.5m from my bed & somehow feels quieter than the fan I have beside my bed. Does it do the job? Hmm...hard to say for sure, coz immediately after being delivered, we've had cooler weather. But it has helped with hot flashes. 😂 Was it easy to set up? Hmm...pretty much. If you don't include the fact that it's impossibly heavy & I had to move my entire living room around to appease it, coz it can't be too close to walls, have kinks in the pipe, etc. There are kinks in the pipe though, coz the pipe is only just long enough to reach the back of the unit to my window. Was it worth it? Well, I won't know for sure until summer fully hits & I reach peak sweaty hell in my flat. 🥵😂 I'm hopeful though. 🤞🏼 So far the signs are good. What's the smart function like? I purchased it because it said it was compatible with Smart Life. I feel like that's a lie, coz I couldn't get Smart Life to find it. It has it's own app which has similar functions to the remote control but with the ability to use it from anywhere. The app doesn't automatically connect to Alexa like Smart Life does. You have to do it manually. But once it's synced with Alexa, it works well. Is it worth the price? Time will tell, we're not in the ridiculously uncomfortable part of summer yet. But it does feel like it will cope with it & I'm hopeful it'll help me kick my summertime Seasonal Affective Disorder. 🤞🏼

Exhaust
Works really well, the only slight issue is exhaust out of the window, depending on your wind you need an adapter or make something, I did the latter !

Great for cooling front room
Works great for cooling our front room. Mainly bought as my dog was suffering in the heat and wanted to create a cool room for her to relax in. At times, it's worked so well I've had to turn it off as I've been too cold, despite the temperature outside being over 30 degrees! Also good as a fan for when you don't need the cooling function. It is a little loud but that's to be expected with an air conditioner. You can alter the fan speed and if you turn it down it does make it a little quieter.

Arrived Broken, ok but definitely not great
The unit arrived a day earlier than expected which was a great start especially as the temperature was to reach 40c! Sadly the good feeling ended there. Taking the unit out the box it was immediately clear that it had been damaged at the warehouse or during delivery. All the fan blades (see pictures) were snapped off. At over £340 that’s not really acceptable. Despite this I plugged it in to test it and found that the unit was leaking (not major but again not acceptable). In terms of actual ability the unit does actually do a good job of cooling. It easily cooled a 15m room and did so real to belt quickly, Power wise it is a hog and draws just under 1.5kwh in use (30p per hour) but for the work it has to do that’s not too bad. Smart functionality I could not get to work at all. Connecting to the app was easy (interestingly it was picked up by the MSmartHome app by CoMfee rather than their own app). It wouldn’t work in smart life nor did it work with Alexa despite claiming to do so. What I would say in summary is whilst the price is attractive the quality let’s it down: - Leaking water isn’t a good sign - Broken vents but this may be bad luck - Smart functionality doesn’t work (smart home aka Alexa) - it does a good job calling the room but at 7000btu you’re much better off getting a 9,000-12,000 unit. - Looks quite outdated off white colour (my ms actually said “did you buy this second hand”. My units being returned but I hope you find the information useful.

It’s hot outside but I’m cool inside.
So happy we bought this air con for the summer. It was expensive and I was concerned I was being ripped off but this air con unit has delivered the goods. When it was 41oc outside I had this baby set to 17oc and was just shut in my living room almost shivering. The mobile phone app was easy to set up but a bit of a gimmick as you can easily use the remote that comes with the unit but it’s nice to have. Had to buy a window sleeve for the tube to go out the window and block hot air coming in but wasn’t very expensive and kept the room cooler. Would recommend!! Note it is a bit loud but my solution is to turn the telly up a bit louder as I would expect an air con unit to make some noise. It’s easy to take up stairs with the 2 carry handles.

Amazing but loud
Great Air con unit managed to cool down my medium sized room in just under 20 minutes. Unfortunately is fairly loud. Also sounds as if the fan inside may be loose but that could be a number of reasons but as a result you can hear the fan shaking resulting in vibrations and extra noise. Apart from that it's amazing
