Great price, issues with the adaptors.
Considering what you get for your money with this, I am overall reasonably happy. The odd thing, however, is no combination of the adaptors in this kit enabled me to find TDC on my engine. the short adaptor was far too short, and the long adaptor, you've guessed already, far too long. In order to actually get the indicator to work, I had to disassemble and heavily modify one of the adaptors to reduce it's height, which involved removing the tightening ring from the collet piece, cutting the tabs off with a dremel, and drilling and tapping a hole in the side in order to fit a grub screw to hold the dial test indicator in place. This finally made the shortest adaptor work so I could find TDC. Additionally the brass insert which screws into the spark plug hole adaptor needed a slot cutting in the top in order to unscrew from the adaptor. If you manage to nip this up tight by hand, you'll have a job removing it again. In the unlikely event someone else purchasing this is looking to do their timing on a mid 90's 2 stroke engine, this is probably what you'll need to do.

good item for the price
ideal for timing an engine with no timing marks or no easy access end of crank , dial gauge could be better quality, but acceptable at this price.
