Nutritional and convenient
I use Kate Farms for tube feeding my disabled adult granddaughter. It is a little thicker than other nutritional drinks so takes slightly longer to flow but contains 11oz per container and has good nutritional ingredients so she is able to eat three times a day instead of more often. She is much happier and content since we started her on Kate Farms. I believe it’s because she feels more satisfied with each feeding. Highly recommend.

Best meal replacement drink out there
Truly great drink. Fills me up, tastes better than most of the stuff out there!!! The only question I have: will Kate Farms be available again? At the moment I can no longer order the product here to Europe. Via Amazon was the only way. Now it seems that the product is currently unavailable.

Great
The regular 1.0 works great for me, but the peptide didn’t agree with me. I’m recovering from esophagus surgery. Kate Farms backs their satisfaction guarantee.

gentle on stomach, loaded with nutrition, sole source nutrition formula, drink or for tube feed
Always best cold if directly consuming it. Neutral easy flavor. Once I tried Kate Farms, it became a repurchase for me. Usually I buy the Standard (lower pricing) but I really like the Peptide option. I have a lot of leeway with what I can eat and drink, so from a medical standpoint I dont necessarily need a special formula like this. I have tried all their peptide drinks, their glucose support formula (this applies to me), renal support, and pediatric support. I trust these formulas. Nothing stands out for as being detrimental for anyone to consume them that dont have specific issues to address, which is why I am comfortable trying any of them. If I had a specific issue, I would very much turn to Kate Farms. I would also recommend to people, and have. Especially for my elderly clients who aren't eating much. I had one comment that they appreciate that this isnt real sweet. I like these for any reason: not feeling well, or simply dont want to eat, or need a healthy meal/snack, for on the go meals or emergency meal. I still buy cheaper stuff like carnation, ovaltine, boost, Orgain meal replacement, etc, but this is a go to for specific science backed nutrition. Other products of this ilk (medically minded and that can be used for tube feeding) is way more expensive than this-Nestle has one. So I dont factor in pricing. This brand is in its own niche yet can be used by general population too. I get a great price with the Subscribe and Save. This is their plain, 1.0 (1 calorie per ml, they also have a 1.5 option), and it is loaded with nutrients from various sources. Just look at it all! I am always pleasantly surprised at how well it tastes considering all that it has in it. It is not a yummy, tasty drink, but it is a palatable neutral tasting drink. I like plain and vanilla most, chocolate is good but not as versatile to me. I drink this as is, or I use it as base to smoothies, I have successfully used it in baking (like pancakes and muffins, but that isnt what this stuff is for. Just something I decided to try-with success). My stomach always feels good. I never feel upset. I hhave sensitive digestion system and this is so gentle on it. Meant as sole source nutrition to be consumed or used in tube feeding.

Great wholesome meal replacement or protein supplement in those times when it is needed.
We have used Kate Farms protein drinks in our house before trying this. It was recommended as a meal replacement/supplement when my spouse was going through chemotherapy. There are many things we like about Kate Farm Protein drinks. One of them being they are already mixed. They were great for the long chemo days at the hospital. Great on days when food was a challenge to eat. They were recommended to us by the Nutritionist. When I read up about the drinks, I liked what was in them and not in them. No dairy. No corn. No nuts. No soy. No gluten. No fish. They are organic. I felt these were much more wholesome than the other brands. Trying out this one: This is Kate Farms Peptide. It is Plain flavor. It is sole source nutrition formula. Great for when one can't stomach regular food. There are 16 grams of protein. Something that we looked at when choosing protein powders and drinks. There are 325 calories. It is 11 ounces. To taste it, this is plain flavored. It tastes plain. It is slightly chalky. The flavor reminds me of a chalky antacid liquid. It is about the consistency of a whole milk. (no dairy). It is brownish in color. It is lightly sweetened. This makes it much easier to drink. 5 stars: 11 ounces is drinkable. I tried making shakes also. The shake would always be too big. It also came up that some drinks were more drinkable than others. The favorite flavor being chocolate. If I found that this was being hard to drink because of the taste, I may try adding a little cocoa to hopefully make it taste better. That said, what I love about Kate Farms protein drinks is that I know I am getting a high quality product. This is why we used Kate Farms drinks during our time of need. If the plain doesn't work. We definitely recommend the chocolate first, and then vanilla second.

Seems to help her compounding health issues
We’ve tried several varieties from Kate Farms, through the Vine reviewer program as well as purchased separately on subscription and sometimes on Prime day sales, with very positive results. I have an elderly who has mental/physical/dental issues, who we have been supplementing her diet with various nutritional supplements, and recently she’s been having major digestive issues. We are still getting all sorts of tests to be what the problem is. In the mean time, Kate Farms drinks seems to be generally better tolerated, which is still anecdotal only because I cannot completely assess the level of problems due to her mental issues compounding the problems. However, I see less visible signs of pain, which is sometimes all you can ask for, given the level of challenges. It’s funny, but not really funny, how much doctors can’t really help you when it comes to details that may matter and we are doing whatever we can, and I like that Kate Farms drinks may be helping. The flavors were all well received, no complaints. The list of vitamins are extensive and nutritional profile is at the most dense end of these style supplements or above. The ingredients are extremely organic focused and plant based. The price is definitely a potential barrier for long term use. We had one of them on subscribe & save to get the 15% discount, but got the notification yesterday that that particular flavor ran out of stock so it fell off of subscription. We were happy with the chance to test out some other ones, but need to decide how much and how long we can afford. If price is not an issue for another buyer, it may be worth a shot.

Price keeps going up
This is a great product and is the only meal replacement I can tolerate due to my medical condition. Unfortunately, ever since it was sold to a larger company, the prices just keep going up. It's gone up $20 in recent months and it was already too expensive for me to afford.

Kate Farms Peptide vs. Orgain Clean Protein
Usually I drink Orgain Clean Protein in vanilla, but when I had the opportunity to test these out, I was eager to see how the two compare. Especially since the pediatrician has mentioned the possibility of putting our 1-year-old on a KF peptide regimen. Please note that since this KF is vegan plant-based and unflavored and the OCP is not, this won't be an apples-to-apples review. I just wanted to experience it for myself before agreeing to have my child receive the bulk of his nutrition from KF. This Kate Farms shake has a thicker consistency and chalkier flavor/texture than the OCP, which is especially noticeable when both are at room temperature. As this KF is a peptide formula, it is theoretically easier for the body to digest and absorb calorically. Indeed it is more calorically dense than the OCP (325 calories versus 130 calories per 11oz servings) although the protein (16g) is roughly half of what the OCP offers (30g). Both products are soy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free. I won't bog down this review with a full ingredient and nutrient comparison since the details are readily available on each company's website. While the KF peptide formula will likely be a better nutrition source for our baby, I definitely prefer the taste, texture, and reduced calories of the OCP. Additionally-- and I'm not quite sure why (maybe the double protein despite the fraction of calories?) the OCP keeps me feeling full several hours longer than the KF. I can't help but wonder if our baby will have a similar experience and remain hungry even after a full serving of KF.
