The first one we purchased was not correct for the 6qt instapot, they are completely identical in appearance, but the bottoms are completely different

Instant Pot still not working right
I replaced everything, including the ring. I intrant Pot still thinks it is a pressure cooker. Very unpredictable and not useful as it has always been.

Currently using it now as a replacement gasket. It works and will not give you problems if you install it correctly.
