I use this rope to make decorative bowels. Wrap straps of fabric around rope and zig zag stitch forming a circle and then tilting it up to form a bowl.

So it isn't 100% cotton since it has a POLYPROPELENE CORE but other than that, it's been up on my yard in direct sunlight for my clothes for about 8 months now and still strong
