Armrest for Toyota 86 GT86 / Subaru BRZ Car Center Console Arm Rest for Scion FR-S 2012-2020 Custom Fit (Red Stitches)

I took a gamble on this product both because of the price and as well as it didn't require drilling holes into my console like the OEM option from the dealership. It shipped from China and I received it after 3 weeks. It was worth the wait because it turned out to be a really good fit. The black leather w/ red stitching looks really good and matches the interior of my BRZ. The plastic component that connects to the cigarette socket however felt cheap and a little flimsy. The usb ports on it wasn't very secure so I superglued it in place. It also only came with 1 usb connector but without the actual plug that goes in the cigarette socket. For that I used one that I already owned. Both usb ports charged my phone without issues after testing. It also came with extra rubber spacers so I put some on my OEM cupholder and placed it inside the product's compartment. Every piece fit snugly in place. Overall I am very impressed and satisfied with this product. Good value for the price and the fact that I can also remove it anytime I want to makes it worth every penny.

This isn’t an extreme high quality upgrade but it is a great OEM+ upgrade I’m giving this 5 stars because the fitment is great. This is a early review will edit if opinion changes after prolonged use but for now my only little wish is that it could have came with a cheap adapter for the power port in the console instead of expecting you to allready have one

Overall, this isn't a great product, but it's not a bad one either. Personally, it's just "good." For the time I had it, it genuinely felt like it was the missing center console my FR-S was needing. It was nice to have a storage space and somewhere to rest my arm on during commute. The all-black with red stitching matched my interior perfectly. Overall build was... good. It slides in perfectly with no wiggle room. It has a premium look, but after holding it you can tell it's just your run-of-the-mill plastic. There are two compartments, a main one and a mini one that right under the armrest. The issue with the mini compartment is that there are magnets that I assume are meant to keep it closed but are definitely not strong enough to hold it's own weight. On top of that, it's not designed to hold much, maybe keep your license or insurance in there, possibly an emergency $20. The main reason why I ended up returning this product was because of its height. For one, I drive stick, so it made shifting gears feel inconvenient. Primarily, it's such at an awkward height for me that resting my arm on it felt uncomfortable. I gave it a genuine try, I tried to get used to it. Some days I didn't mind, others just didn't feel too good. At some point I took it off and my driving experience felt so much better, so that's when I knew this product just isn't for me.

Fit perfectly in the car but when you pull the parking brake it smacks into the arm rest if not pulled back.

The product is very nice and should have been included from Subaru/Toyota. I ordered the black with red stitching and it matches the interior of my BRZ. It has 2 levels of storage, the first is very shallow for maybe papers or something and the second level is very deep and I believe it will accommodate the OEM cup holder (although you would have to drive with the lid open.) The USB ports I have not used yet, but be aware you will need one of those cigarette lighter type connectors to plug the USB ports into. The fit has it flaws , but overall it's a great product and was very easy to install.

Good fit without any rattling or noise. the neoprene bumpers are essential for this. You can even put the stock cupholders inside. Really comfy armrest and convenient. Great price for a piece that should have been included stock. You can even remove the charging extension and still use that small area as a cubby for your phone.

My 2017 Toyota 86 NEEDED a center console to help my daily 25-mile commute to have somewhere to rest my elbow. This was a good fit and having the USB ports were well designed with an additional purchase of a USB power port flat connector. The quality is pretty good, "Leather" top is decent, but it needs a little more padding as I can feel the plastic on the long drive in my elbow but it's not terrible. The smaller upper storage area is a bit useless but the lower is good. Overall, its not worth the $50 price tag but it does fit the bill to fill the empty space in my 86. Would recommend if you cant stand the gaping hole on your right side in your BRZ/FRS/86

I really wanted to like this product, but I ultimately ended up returning it. Below are PROS and CONS: PROS: - The product fits perfectly into the car taking place of the cup holder area of the BRZ. - It looks OEM and the red stitching perfectly matches the interior of the BRZ. - The product has two storage compartments. The first level is very thin, but I was able to kind of tuck my phone in there and store it conveniently while it charges. The second level is deeper, and you can fit back the cupholder that came with the car, but unfortunately, the cupholder does not fit perfectly in that area and is kind of loose. I have read some reviews that the product comes with some rubber spacers to secure it in place, but I did not see these in the box. CONS: - I found it was too tall for when driving a manual BRZ. It was nice to have a place to rest my arm, but because you are always shifting, it feels uncomfortable the more I drove with it to reach the gear selector. I imagine in an automatic BRZ it wouldn't be that much a problem. - The hinge for it is very loose, and you can wiggle it around. While to some this might not be a big deal, it felt really cheap and doesn't really securely close because the magnets that hold the door down are too weak. - The USB charging on it while is nice and convenient, requires that you already have a cigarette charging connector so that it plugs into that. The problem with that is that it ends up charging your phone so slowly that you're better off just using the actual charger directly. Conclusion: The concept and price of this product is excellent, but I feel that if they can refine the hinge so that it feels tighter and shorten the overall height of the product just a bit it would be perfect.

Wow it feels great to rest my arm naturally on this when driving. Really love the fact you can use the oem cup holders inside the compartment as well!! This should be something that Subaru should have in the brz off the assembly line because it makes the interior look better and fills up that empty space in the middle! The shipping was great as well was supposed to arrive in February but arrived on January 13th The packaging looked like I ordered some drugs on Amazon haha and was opened up a few times The styrofoam that the seller put over top the leather protected it from being cut open from customs because there was multiple cuts and re taping the package Again amazing product I recommend getting this for your brz!!

One of the pictures shows this in a right hand drive car, but it is only suitable for left hand drive models unless you go without the usb part
