Basically just opened it up and fiddled around but so far I’m quite happy with it. I’m comparing it to the Sony headphone I had in which the clip on one of the earpieces snapped off rendering the entire headphone unusable. What I like about the anchor, and I generally love anchor products, is the ease in which I can switch between modes. I had more trouble with the Sony. They’re extremely lightweight – I can barely feel them on my head. The sound is quite good and although I am not too picky, I am very pleased with the quality.Basically, I’m very pleased with my purchase and I will update if needed.

Did not know what to expect, but these are really great sound dampening headphones for the price. Would recommend highly.

Update 03/2023Shortly after I updated my review, I decided to return the original set of headphones and subsequently received a replacement set. The replacement headphones have not missed a beat and I no longer have a problem when talking on the phone. So, everything that I said in my original feedback applies. I will however keep the rating as a 4-star rating and keep my bottom line assessment. "Worth Every Penny."I am changing my original rating of 5 stars to 4 stars for two reasons. I was on an extended phone call today and after an hour or so of talk time, the voice communications sound became gargled/intelligible. I turned off the headphones and the sound was loud and clear from my phone, so the problem is with the headphones.Also, I have a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver adapter that I use to watch my non-Bluetooth TV with headphones. This set of headphones will not connect to the adapter. The Soundcore software has a list of what these headphones can connect to, and my Bluetooth transmitter and receiver is not on the list. No problem with my Bose. So, I will continue to use my Bose headphones for the Bluetooth transmitter/receiver connection.These headphones have what I was originally looking for in headphones, so, I still say that they are worth every penny.Original Review BelowThese headphones are worth every penny I spent. The sound quality is comparable to that of my Bose QC 35 headphones. No, I won’t dare put them ahead of Bose, but for the price difference, the Soundcore Anker Life Q30 Headphones are a real winner. There are various sound options, so you are bound to get the sound quality you enjoy based on the genre of music that you prefer. And, the Noise Cancellation is very good. Not as close to my Bose as the sound quality is, but good enough. I can’t hear my bathroom blower running nor my garage door open when I have Noise Cancellation on. Now, there is a caveat, I have to turn the headphones up to at least mid volume level, which isn’t too high. It is about the same level as Bose, but you can hear some residual sound with Soundcraft when my bathroom blower is on. No residual sound with Bose. What is really remarkable is I can still hear my music while riding my 33 HP Zero Turn mower, with the prior caveat, turn volume up. But, I have to turn my Bose up too and have residual sound with both while riding the Zero Turn, which is fine for safety purposes. Additionally, the Soundcore headphones battery is very good, as advertised. I’m using the headphones for the fourth day and I’m still at 80 percent power. Probably 14 cumulative hours of usage over 4 days. When the Noise Cancellation is engaged, the sound appears flat, so I boost the base to eliminate the flat sound. There is an option to do this along with various other adjustment options via the Soundcore App. By the way, you do have to download the Soundcore App to get the Headphones to work. I have an android Smartphone and had no issues at all. The Bluetooth range is just as good as my Bose Headphones. And these comfortable headphones fit over my ears perfectly. This is the best inexpensive set of Headphones I've ever owned. Therefore, I highly recommend them and rate them 5-stars overall.

I compared these with my daughters Bose earbuds. Could not tell the difference in noise cancellation. These really do have a lot of useful and functional features that add value. Feel solid. They fold nicely and are very comfortable. Also used these on a flight. Excellent! Music is 7.5 or 8/10. Must use the app and graphic equalizers. Bass is solid. Plenty loud. Transparency mode is actually great! Not as seamless as Airpod pros, but the amplification and left to right distinction is nice. Used them at the airport to hear my boarding call while listening to music. $51 renewed. Easily the best $50 I have spent on tech in a looong time. I chose to give these a chance, because I have a great BT speaker from Soundcore that I love and have had for 5 years. Well done Soundcore! Q30 is the sweet spot.Oh! There is a custom sleep sound mode from the app that lets you set a timer and add various sleep sounds at different levels and mix them as you like at any volume level. Wind sound with some ocean waves, wind chimes, and a lil rain was impressive. Execution is above expectation for sure.

Hard to beat the sound quality, especially for the price. Comfortable fit, fast charging, easy to use. We own 4 of them.

Provisional review, they seem to work fine. Haven't flown with them yet, which is the purpose of the purchase. If I find they do or don't work so well , I will revise this review. But for the price, with a convenient case, and good fit, I like them.
