Bought a bunch of these for softboxes and such and find myself using them for most of my modifiers because they’re just built well and easy to use. Mounts to all kinds of stands, grips, etc for a wide range of setups and shooting situations.

How did I not know about this sooner? I have a dozen umbrella brackets and this is so much sturdier and puts the light much closer to the center of the umbrella shaft. Aside from being larger than a typical umbrella bracket there’s no reason I can think of not to use this instead. I bought this with a small soft box. The fit is great, it doesn’t slip at all under the weight and it has a really secure grip on the flash. The handle is great too. Really comfortable to hold. It also come off quickly and easily to attach to a light stand. Unless you’re really short on space you’ll love this thing.

This mount is stellar. Most of the lighting modifiers I have are bowens mount, the problem has always been that I didn't have a way to use them with my small compact speedlights. Most of the time I am using my large flashguns, but they are very bulky, heavy, and much larger than your typical speedlight. This mount allows me to take my speedlights and use them with any of my bowens mount light modifiers. It even has a spot that will allow you to attach flash umbrellas if you prefer to use that instead of a bowens softbox. The mount holds my flash body securely in place, and the handle on the side allows you to reindex it out of the way when adjust the bracket direction. The included handle allows your assistant to hold the flash setup for ease of use. or if you are solo, the bottom of the handle can be threaded to a light stand, or removed completely and mounted directly to the stand. Great Mount! I'll be picking up several more.

You can purchase this great mount cheaper but the added grip is worth the extra price. You don't have to grip tight to hold it. The texture on the grip is very good. Also the grip allows you to mount it on other types of tripods with a 1/4 inch screw mount.

Nothing fancy but. Great to have if you plan adding softbox with on camera flash controlled remotely.

great product to turn flash into a mini-softbox by adding bowens mount soft box. i want to use it handheld, and the product is that sturdy that its probably slightly too heavy for hand held use all night.
