"Switch" Immersion Dripper Set, Size 02

I already had two pour over sets made in Japan - one ceramic, and one copper. I no longer use those, and just use this one. The results are faster and easier. I don't bother with the slow pour over process, and careful timing, and all the waiting. This is so much more practical. And its good quality. The glass and silicone have a nice heft to them, and don't seem too fragile. My only slightly complaint is that the filters don't fit super well and tend to fall over a bit - compared to the pour over systems with fluted filters which are more stable. I have to hold this filter open with one hand to pour the ground coffee in, and make sure its set in a stable way.

The switch is so easy to use and my coffee tastes so good with it. It is also super easy to keep clean. Just rinse. I found some "recipes" online using a hybrid of pour over and then immersion so you get the best of both worlds in one cup of coffee. I have recommended this to my friends and family.

Husband’s aeropress crapped out and he plunged boiling hot water on himself as such we needed a replacement for it. This has been a great coffee maker and he’s very happy with it.

I've been loving the Hario Switch! V60's are already so well known so I won't get into that, but the switch opens up new possibilities of immersion or hybrid brews. It seems great for various skill levels, from beginners to experts. For pourover beginners like me (though I come from the high-precision rabbit hole of espresso), immersion brews seem more forgiving. And having discussed with those who are much more experienced, immersion and hybrid brewing are nice tools to add for your arsenal. The switch itself is easy enough to use and clean. I'd just be a bit more careful when cleaning it, as I have read about people accidentally breaking the mechanism. The carafe does the job, but that can be the first area to upgrade. Overall, this is essentially a V60 with the extra capability of stopping flow when desired. That alone opens up a world of possibilities while at minimum still being a perfectly fine V60 dripper.

Finally a great pour over with immersion! It uses no2 filter, but the design makes it work a little more like basket filter. I had to use a little more coffee, but wow smooth and strong!! Love it.

Pretty much goof proof! It’s marketed as a steep and release ( which it is) but it’s more versatile than that. If you want to learn to do all those tiny pours… you can do that with this brewer. The glass brewer can hold 250 cc of water easily. You might be able to get 300 in but it would be really full. For what it does and how well it does that … great value

Pretty nice, but expensive v60. It may be worth it if you’re willing to spend this much for a v60. Glass quality is dam good

One of the best ways to make coffee. Brings out the flavors of coffee beautifully. Fairly easy to use once you get into the rhythm of it. Cleaning takes two seconds and it looks great in any coffee setup. Size is a little small as it will really only do one cup but you can put it over any container to make a larger batch. Great value for the money.

Produto chegou antes do prazo, sem avarias e bem embalado. O produto é lindo, quase uma peça de decoração. Pra quem ama café especial a Hario Switch é um excelente investimento.
