As the initial silver is consumed by this interaction, SILVADUR technology releases more silver ions from the complex and the process continues. Silver ions are lethal to microbes that cause odor and material degradation. What is the purpose of the zipper pocket and little snap tab on the extra large towel?

Used similar towels in the military. Now that I'm traveling at my own will, I keep one of these with me everywhere I go. Dries the body well, great length, and dries itself impressively quick. Folds down smaller than a pair of crew socks. No brainer for the backpacker / traveler.

Light weight, compact. Good for backpacking/camping. A bit rough on the skin, not as soft as cotton. Does not completely dry the body, still some wetness left.
