How to enable standard buttons, not power, after installing argonremote.zip for libreelec? only the power button works.

After installing the argonremote.zip file then restarting. you should have the Argon ONE Config icon in the PLUGINS. All buttons should be working by then. You can try to uninstall and reinstall if you are having issues.

Does this work with the original argon one v1 case? i don't want to waste money if it doesn't

The Argon One V1, from what I can tell, has no infrared receiver. So no, it will not work with a stock V1 case. Furthermore, unless you are running a LibreElec version of Kodi, the only remote control functionality that works is the on/off button. I have built my system with the V2 case and it has a few quirks to get the remote working (meant to do a write-up but now I cannot remember LOL).

Will this turn the volume up and down on a Sonos sound bar?

The only device this will control is the argon case. It can control the source audio only, depending on your setup, I would imagine it would work. The remote only works with libreelec.

Does this provide pause/play functionality?

not directly, but yes. you can use the remote to pause/play video. In libreelec, clicking the center button brings up the menu, clicking a 2nd time, pauses the video.
