Best case for both keyboard and ipad protection
Have owned this for almost a year now so this isn’t an out of the box review. So I’ve tested about 10 different cases and this one is still on top, primarily for its keyboard. If you’re reading this you’re probably equally frustrated by all these other cases promising you instant connectivity and great responsiveness- only to sit down and attempt to write a paper that ends up with annoying typos and double letters where there shouldn’t be. Looking at you, Brydge. Especially for those working in fields with uncommon terminology or various languages that require disabling autocorrect, having “aaaa” instead of “a”s all the time can make you feel like chucking your iPad at the wall. No problems with that here, and everything’s still working smoothly after a year. So, keyboard is great. The key feel is similar to a MacBook, which I’m already used to, a bit small but expected since i have an 11” 2021 model. The trackpad works perfect for me, but I usually use the touchscreen and pencil so have limited comment. Durability! I’m pretty clumsy and have definitely dropped my ipad more than a couple of times. Amazingly no scratches or damage at ALL- can’t say the same with my older iPad Pro and it’s not so magic keyboard (RIP). Yes this case is a bit heavier but absolutely worth it. The case stays closed with magnets and wraps around the corner edges, and is a tiny bit bigger than the iPad itself which gives a little border for extra protection. Age of Covid= need to sanitize after coffee shop stints? Check. I’ve used alcohol wipes and even purell on occasion after a plane ride, working at the coffee shop, library, or sitting in a public area, and this PVC-ish cloth material it’s made of has held up just fine. I don’t anticipate dousing it for years to come, but for now there’s been no issue in terms of needing to get rid of any germs that might ride home. In short- well done Logitech. My family’s used Logitech brand keyboards, speakers, mice, etc, and for me this case continues to perform up to standard. Hope this helps others, and I’ll update this review as I continue to use this! —UPDATE I was considering switching to logitechs slim folio, which has nearly the same high quality responsive keyboard, but without a trackpad and with a flap for your pencil. The slim one is going back- it’s actually thicker than the combo, and because of the way it props up (the keyboard is only activated once it clicks into place), there’s only one possible position for the tablet. So, the Combo remains the winner in my list of keyboard/cases for my iPad.

Worth it
I have had this iPad Pro keyboard for a year now. So I after a year of use I feel as though I can accurately chime in. For the asking price I feel that this keyboard is great. After a year of use, it is holding up great. There’s no peeling of the fabric, no discoloration. However I only use the keyboard for answering emails, some light web browsing and some light video editing on my iPad Pro. It has held up great. As far as the use experience, it is also great. It’s no typist keyboard for sure. If you’re looking for a a mechanical keyboard type experience this isn’t it. This can’t replace a full keyboard or even a laptop, but it does work as a decent substitute when in a pinch. The keyboard attached to the iPad does add a bit of weight to the overall package, but it’s nothing too uncomfortable or heavy. The dedicated key shortcut keys all work. This definitely feels like it could be a first party keyboard. It also definitely provides more protection than the Magic Keyboard from apple. This is a worthy alternative. The trackpad also functions great and supports iPad OS shortcuts.

good product
Great quality, really convenient with the separable keyboard and main holder. Bit expensive, but great value add if on the switching to iPad from laptop for almost everything track. Bit of a large surface area and awkward in tight spaces but better than the folio apple keyboard in terms of quality.

Not without minor flaws, but it’s the best option on the market today!
I’m using this keyboard case with my iPad Pro 11” (Gen 1). After using it extensively for a few days, I am very impressed with the keyboard case and am using it now to type this review. *** LIKES *** - Great all-around protection for the iPad. There is a cutout for the Apple Pencil that leaves 6.5” of the right side of the iPad somewhat exposed, but in this spot the rubber bumper sticks out about 3mm and still provides some protection. Good design, as those of us who dropped $200 on the Pencil expect to be able to dock it on the side of the iPad while in the case. The absence of a loop to hold the Pencil in place when on the move offers some risk of loss, but I only dock the Pencil when the iPad is in use and I remove the Pencil and store it separately when not in use. - Detachable keyboard is very good. Another reviewer said that if you’ve used a Microsoft Surface, you know what you’re getting. I used a Surface Pro for several years and I completely agree. Attaching/detaching the keyboard is easy and locks into place with a secure click due to the strong magnets. Keyboard is relatively satisfying to type on given its small size - key travel is minimal, but provides enough feedback to know you cleanly hit the key. The embedded touchpad is large and the click registers the same with equal sensitivity no matter where you click. The touchpad also recognizes typical Apple gestures that you’d usually do on the screen. Backlit keyboard is a nice touch. I keep the keyboard fully dimmed by default to save iPad battery and brighten it when typing in low-light conditions. Other reviewers complained about it being too dim, but I haven’t yet found that to be an issue. The row of function keys is useful. - The case looks pretty slick. I bought the dark gray and it looks very nice. I almost bought the sand color, but it was out of stock and I was worried it may show dirt more easily than the dark gray. - The kickstand gives you a lot of flexibility with viewing angles. Again, it functions very much like the Microsoft Surface kickstand. - I have a glass screen protector on my iPad and it doesn’t interfere at all. It’s nice to have this added layer of screen protection. *** DISLIKES *** - As someone who uses iPhone/iPad but Windows laptops/desktops, getting used to the keyboard layout will take some time. I use the CTRL key a lot while typing (CTRL+Backspace to delete entire words, for example). On this keyboard the Emoji key is where I’d expect the CTRL key to be (bottom left corner). I realize that this matches the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad, but I instinctively hold down this key expecting it to be CTRL and an Emoji menu pops up instead. This is a user familiarity issue, not a design issue, but if you switch between platforms it’s worth considering. Also no escape key. The Home button is where the escape key normally is. - It’s more difficult than it should be to open the kickstand, which feels as though it’s magnetized to the case body when closed. It takes a bit of force to open and there isn’t a great place to grab it. Probably easier if your fingernails are longer. I feel similarly about opening the keyboard while the Pencil is docked. If you stick your finger in the recessed cutout for the Pencil and pull down, it’s easy, but if the Pencil is docked and you close the keyboard, reopening it is a bit of a pain. Minor annoyance. - It’s heavy. 2 lb, 5 oz with the iPad in the case. That’s more than double the ~1lb weight of my 11” iPad Pro on its own. Not a deal-killer for me, and reviewers warned of this, but it’s surprisingly hefty (hopefully this translates into durability, which is a fair trade for me). - It’s expensive. Sure, cheaper than Magic Keyboard, but $200 for a keyboard case is kinda nuts, right? Overall I feel it’s worth a 4.5-star review. If money isn’t an issue, go for it, it’s a very solid keyboard case with few design flaws, and I think it’s as good (or better) than the Apple Magic Keyboard. Even if they were the same price, I’d go for this one over the Apple version.

Replaced worn keyboard
This is my replacement keyboard for my iPad Pro 11 3rd gen. I’ve had the very same Logitech for at least 3 years and it was just time for a new one. The lettering on the keys that get a “workout” starts to wear off. I looked at getting an external keyboard to just get by for a bit at a half the price. I read everything and didn’t like the cheaper boards. So I just ordered what I had in the past. The new keyboard came today and I am so glad I stuck with Logitech. It pops on so fast and you are up and running in no time. I love typing on it, I love how portable and lightweight and the ease of positioning. The way the keyboard attaches and pops off is the best if you want to use as a traditional notebook is really a nice feature. I like the fact that it draws power from the IPad so there is no charging separately. Also if you ever drop the IPad the case really holds up and protects the IPad from damage. So glad I bought a new one!!!

Good but not great, frequent issues with clicking/tapping and gestures
UPDATE: I am lowering the score to 3 stars; two for being OK plus one for being basically the only solution on the market. This device makes a strong argument for just spending the unreasonable amount of money Apple wants for their keyboard case. Between the frequent tapping/clicking/gesture errors and frequent issues where the cursor just stops working until I exit the app and come back in, it turns out this solution is only OK, sometimes good, never great. Maybe the real problem is that iPadOS is half baked and ill suited for anything other than touch interaction. I don’t know and I don’t think I plan to find out either. This keyboard case is serviceable, it gets the job done often enough at a low enough cost. But if you were hoping to rely on this thing, look elsewhere because it’s just kludgy enough to be an utter nuisance and hardly worth the effort. Original review below: This gets 3 stars for being a good (but not great) product plus one extra star for having basically no other competition in the same price range. Overall, it works great. I never feel like my iPad is unsafe or unprotected in most scenarios. The keyboard provides a nice typing experience; the keys are responsive, ever so slightly tactile so I know that a key has been pressed. The keys aren’t mushy or too loud and they’re nicely spaced even for my 11-inch iPad Pro M1. The cloth-like material of the keyboard and case is soft and smooth while the texture provides some decent grip. And while it does have a cloth-like feel, it doesn’t seem to absorb a ton of dirt and oil from my hands. Almost a year in and this case/keyboard still look and feel great. My only concern with the case part of the accessory is the rubber gasket that holds the case on to the iPad. I think it feels a little flimsy near the charging port and will most likely be the area that deteriorates the fastest. That said, I don’t expect that one little spot to receive much abuse even under normal circumstances but the rubber material is so thin there that I really do believe it’ll be the first place to fail—eventually. My biggest issue is with the trackpad and gestures. The trackpad itself is great. Clicky and not mushy. Smooth so your fingers glide across its surface. But I have frequent issues with the trackpad failing to register a click or misinterpreting a two-finger scroll with a two-finger click. I have disabled tapping on the touchpad via iPadOS settings so clicks require a full press of the trackpad. That doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. I will still frequently scroll with my fingers and still have a right-click registered by the iPad. Aside from that, I also frequently encounter an issue where the cursor simply disappears while the keyboard continues to work as expected. This requires either a disconnect/reconnect of the keyboard or sometimes just restarting the app or giving the iPad time to re-recognize the trackpad. The accompanying keyboard/accessory configuration app is as bare bones as one could get. It’s got a nice looking graphic and like one setting to toggle and that’s it. Almost makes me wonder why they even bothered with a configuration app at all. I wish the official solution from Apple wasn’t so dang expensive, otherwise I’d have picked that up.

BEST IPAD CASE EVER
Okay... this might get long winded. This case is by far the best keyboard case for the Ipad Pro. Why? - Full protection of corners on tablet; the case covers the entirety of the ipad, unlike other keyboard cases. - Being able to remove the tablet from keyboard let's you use it as a great drawing tablet or video viewer - Kickstand on case is great - The mesh weave NEVER gets dirty - Keyboard has MACRO keys! Wooo! Volume and brightness keys galore! - Largest trackpad in the market - Has apple gestures integrated into trackpad - It's backlit! Okay, done ranting. It's really great if you want: A computer, a drawing tablet, and a protection case all wrapped into one. It's lighter than the Magic Keyboard from Apple, but heavier than some other keyboards. Honestly, I bought three keyboards: Apple Magic Keyboard, this one, and the Apple Folio Keyboard. This one just won hands down... (actually no, it was hard; the Magic Keyboard is pretty slick.) Also, if you get this, know that Logitech Customer Support will replace your device should it suffer any issues. I had some warping on the plastic after about a year, and they gave me a new one for free.

Do not buy it starts falling apart after the warranty expires
If I could give this case a negative start rating I would. Stay away from this product, it is poorly designed and the material quality is not what it should be for a $200 accessory. I purchased 3 of these one for me 2 for my kids and they all ended up with the same issues. The main problem that makes the case unusable after a year of use is the rubber around the top of the case it comes apart from the case itself. The other issue is the outer material starts deteriorating. I contacted customer support and because i purchased all of them over one year ago they refused to do anything more than offer a 30% discount on a Logitech purchase. There is no way I’m buying another one of these lemons….

Great Customer Service and After Sales
I have purchased the wrong keyboard case. The team was extremely helpful and helped me replace it with the right case for my iPad Air. Will definitely buy from them again. The Logitech Combo Touch Case is great, and super versatile for when you don't need that keyboard, you can just detach it.

The Logitech Combo Touch is a economical Keyboard and surpasses the Apple compatible.
The keyboard itself is well made and has a firm touch and a finger pad as well. KEYBOARD POWERED BY THE IPAD. The keypad has a secure connect by a magnetic bar on the keyboard which connects to the bottom long edge on the iPad opposite the magnetic mount for the Apple Pencil for charging. The Keys are controlled by light and powered from the iPad. This could be strain on the battery. The keyboard itself is easy to attach and detach and store it magnetically on the back of the iPad with the key protected facing the on the back. I like the utility The Logitech Combo is a good buy for quality and price. Id like one programable button for adding a signature line. There may be one but I don’t know where (yet). That brings up the 4 command buttons, 4 on left, 2 on right of the space bar. Ive had a hard time finding out what they can control and option? I know there is a chart somewhere but don’t know where. The Logitech Combo Touch is a good, well made buy, and very consistent with their high quality standard over the many years from the first ‘MOUSE’.
