We got this to try it out as no one likes soggy socks. We have a very long and narrow master bath as it was an addition to the house. We moved our low pile carpeted mats down the length of the bathroom and now this sits immediately outside our shower and infront of our toilet. The soggy socks come in as he likes to shower in the morning where I shower at night to wash the days dirt off before getting into bed. His morning shower and my morning pee typically would leave me with soggy socks to be changed if I didn't make it to the bathroom first. I purposely got out of the shower without slicking any of the water off to give it a solid testing. Within about 3 minutes, it was dry. I had reservations about it being cold and hate having cold feet but it actually stays fairly warn despite being millimeters from a tile floor with the ac running hard in south Texas heat during the summer to maintain our home at 67°. My second worry was about out cat that likes to act like Godzilla on the war path sliding into this new hard mat and breaking it and the tile surrounding it. We have a step in shower stall so the tile goes up the wall a little bit to create the lip to keep water from coming out. The little anti-skid mat it came with has done a great job in the 2 months of having it. Not once have we or the cat shifted this mat even a little. We have super hard highly chlorinated water and at 2 months in we haven't had the need to clean it. No stains. Nothing. I've scrubbed the glass shower door 4Xs in the same time. The mat being made of diatomaceous earth has the added property of having millions of tiny microscopic points that kill insects. When one of our furry four legged family members gets fleas because we forgot their flea prevention, we rub food grade diatomaceous earth on them and dust the house with it. Fleas, silverfish, and other small bugs don't last long with this stuff. With the mat being made from DE, our cat loves to "be a fish" and love all over this thing. Her fur doesn't stick to it and she only lives inside bit she purrs like crazy and loves all over this bath mat. We love it and our cat approves too.

Love these efficient and beautiful stone bath mats! The water wicks away quickly from your feet right out of the shower. The stone then dries quickly so there's not a yucky wet bath mat lying around. I've ordered for college dorms, several friends and all of my showers at home. A definite must-have for a clean and minimalistic bathroom!

I bought this to use as a dish drainer because I don’t use a dish drying rack. This thing is amazing for this purpose. I previously bought another brand for my bathroom and it too is amazing. Such a great invention for water absorption. The only thing is they don’t wipe down very well, ie, if you spill food on it etc. It has groves to aid in absorption that soils can get into. Probably could get with a toothbrush. They really should make these in multiple colors to match various countertops because they are a wonder in the kitchen.

I ordered 2- the packaging states that it comes with an extra anti skid mat but neither one did. I contacted the company and had a wonderful customer service response and was offered some money back. The stone does what it says. It does absorb water and I’m really impressed how well it works. My main reason for 3 stars is that one of the stones cracked after 5 weeks.

Quick dry

The mat itself is as advertised, dries quickly an feels good on the feet. Problem is it has to sit on a mesh mat to not slide. Wish it just had some rubber feet and wasn’t a two part system. Also instructions say you have to sand it (sandpaper provided) every few months?!?

I had previously seen these in Japan years ago, but could never find them in Canada. I bought one immediately when I saw them on Amazon. These work amazing as bath mats. They dry out so quickly you can literally watch it happen. No more soggy, stinky, moldy bath mats. They are also very easy to clean day to day, since you can just sweep them like a tile. My robot vacuum goes on top of it no problem, and doesn't move it around.

This bath mat is a game changer no more soggy bath mat or spillages over the bathroom floor. It’s high quality design is able to prevent overflow of water and quickly absorbs and dries up. The mat is thick and has a hard surface. Not for those looking for a soft/fluffy bath mat.
