One part of the left boot involving a complex seam protrudes into my bunion. The same part on the right boot doesn't protrude into the same bunion on the right foot. That tells me that the seams in question can be made without protruding, and that the one on the left was made in a flawed and inexpert fashion. Otherwise, not too shabby, though a bit heavier than useful for "work" activities that involve more ambulation than driving a truck. I'll try and stretch the part that protrudes back into a more comfortable surface with silicone spray and steam, and the ball end of a 3-pound ball peen hammer. ADDENDUM: Now, after a couple of months of daily wear they are quite comfortable, enough room in the toe box, heel box is snug enough, bunion problems are minimal to non-existent. Comfortable! They remind me of a perfect pair of Wolverines that I bought in the 1980's and wore for 20+ years. VERY IMPRESSED.
