Works easily and great!

I only got this to use for sort of a one time use case where we volunteered to cut up a lot of tomatoes for a school event and it worked so great for that. I'd never even used one of these mandoline type cutters before so I really didn't know what to expect. This guy cuts tomatoes at the perfect thickness and about as fast as you can get it done. Make sure and wear the gloves though because it's no joke. We sliced about 50 tomatoes in what seems like 10 minutes with it, I can't imagine doing that with a knife.

I don't know how it happened, but my thirty year old mandoline broke! I looked at many versions on Amazon before deciding on this one. So far, so good! The blade was very sharp through the first several uses, but seems to have lost a bit of the sharpness. It's still plenty sharp and I hope it remains sharp enough to slice onions and similar density food items for years to come! Best of all, I still have all my fingers!!! 🤗

When I read the reviews and found out a lot of people were cutting themselves I was wondering are these people children Or are just extremely clumsy? Maybe it's because I grew up with no type of safety precautions in the kitchen it's just be careful or cut your hand off. So we always use the front burner, no corner projectors and you know No cover in any of the knives.And none of us had ever gotten hurt why? Because we use common sense and we're careful when we use such things that could cause any type of harm. So whem I saw these clumsy people cutting your fingers I kind of laughed. So for obvious reasons without using the gloves I decided to cut some tomatoes for my sandwiches which is the reason why got this in the first place and what a surprise I didn't cut my fingers off because I was slow and careful cutting them. Seriously the gloves aren't completely necessary. Unless you have the coordination of a toddler. Would buy again 10/10

I found it hard to maneuver and struggled to slice an eggplant thin enough?

This thing is INSANELY sharp and razor thin. **trigger warning if you are squeamish** It sliced through my nail and fingertip like butter, had to go to urgent care. I’m talking clean cut, fingernail still intact; that’s how sharp it is. I am not accident prone and I’ve been cooking since I was six. This is the first time I’ve gotten a kitchen injury. Do not touch the blade with your bare hands! Anyway, I’m still giving it a 5-star review because it works incredibly well. It goes through vegetables so fast and is fairly easy to clean.

I loved it at first, adjustable heights, 2 sizes of julienne, and a very sharp blade. It worked really well for 2 weeks, then the adjustment knob broke off from the shaft that changes the height and type of cut. Where it is attached is so small it cannot be fixed. I didn't mind the plastic housing because the blade was good but all the moving parts should have been metal not just the blade. I would not buy again. I have not reached out to either Amazon or the manufacturer for compensation, so I do not know if I have recourse yet. Will let you know. This part is an update, my husband, who is very clever, used the smallest drill bit and was able to clear out the old broken piece and fix it. It now works great again. I am not sure I would buy it again or not. I will upgrade this to 3 stars

This thing is DANGEROUS if not used correctly! Use the glove provided, and use the veggie gripper tool, so that your hands, fingers, knuckles aren't in harms way! Now that my PSA is over, holy cow does this work well! It is super sharp and cuts effortlessly. There is a center welded tac nail that sometimes creates a minor snag on your veggie (or fruit), so that's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I am super impressed with this machine for the price. Adjusting is easy, and the cuts are consistent.

Very sharp device, didn’t reach the size I was wishing upon to make FRESH POTATO CHIPS, however it’s very good for slicing. One of cons: when veg is coming smaller in size due slicing, needles of safety holder that stuck / inserted into veg/potato wouldn’t tolerate finish slicing all of veg. Piece, then u must take it out and try to slice it using HAND, which is very hazard as device is very SHARP, u must be CAUTIOUS ! Didn’t try for julienne cuts yet.

Not a bad product but consider storing it. It takes a lot of space. Maybe suitable for professional kitchen than home kitchen
