Eco Advance Concrete/Masonry Siloxane Odorless Spray-On Application Waterproofer, Safe for Use Around Plants, Pets, and People, 1 Gallon

I love this stuff. It's easy and forgiving to go on, dries timely, holds up well, doesn't have a shiny sheen, makes the color pop a little more (slightly darkens it but in a richer way), allows the concrete to "breathe", it's good stuff. I put on a new coat on my exterior stone veneers a year or two later and it barely absorbed it because it was still working perfectly fine, in the hot strong sun of Florida. Guess I should've tested if it needed it first, blew my expectations. I just put more down on my driveway pavers after dying them with custom dye. This is my go too concrete sealer now.

I have tried Ghost Shield ($$$), Masonry Defender ($$, recommended by Bob Villa site), and Eco Advanced ( $ from Amazon Netizen). I decided to use a synthetic paintbrush after using a paint roller first. Masonry is easy to apply since it is the thinnest and requires only two coats. The Eco is the thickest and does not spread easily if the weather is windy or sunny. The Ghost has the best of the three in application; it is substantive yet easy to apply. All three hold up well. Eco Advance, I only use one coat because it is difficult to apply a second coat if the first dries out.

Application was easy. Sprayed on a 10×20 foot stamped concrete patio. Not knowing how much it would take, I sprayed on a light coat using a 1 gallon yard sprayer. It dried quickly, and I sprayed a second time. I used a long handle paint roller to smooth out the excess. It looks really good and it beads up when it rains. Very pleased with the ease of application and the finished look. Now, Hopefully it will last for a year or more.

We recently had a stamped concrete patio put in and were advised to put some water proofing sealant on it yearly. I looked at the traditional products that are applied with a brush. I had used these brands before on our deck (which we replaced with the patio) and never was very happy with them. Eco Advance seemed very interesting. I liked that it was water based and could be applied with a garden sprayer. It also had a reasonable price and plenty of positive reviews. I have to say I'm very happy with the product overall. Applying the recommended 2 coats to our patio took very little time - just over an hour. In fact, it took longer for me to pressure wash the concrete beforehand. You do have to watch for the product to pool in certain areas. I think it was a bit more problematic because our concrete has wood-grain stamping. But dabbing it with an old towel took care of the excess. Sure enough, we had some light rain a few days later. The water beaded up on the concrete and either ran off or evaporated over time. It's been on a few months now and I have noticed the same thing each time it rains. The product left no marks or stains on the concrete and didn't have an overly powerful smell. It took approximately 2 premixed gallons to waterproof about 480 square feet. I'd definitely recommend Eco Advance. It takes a tedious chore and makes it much easier. And so far, so good with the waterproofing itself.

One gallon covered my brick front porch twice. It rained 2-3 days after the application, and it seemed like only 1-2 spots actually repelled water. Maybe I need to do another coat or 2. I used a one gallon sprayer with a fan nozzle. It’s pre mixed so that was nice. I just wish it repelled the water completely. FYI: if you use a sprayer like I did, remember to move steady and fast, the one gallon does not last long.

Excellent sealer

Seems to be working on my big concrete 🦅 eagle and went on easy with my garden sprayer. With probably do this every other year only takes a few minutes. Was a little pricey but had a better review then some of the other sealers.

II really love it I use it all the time

I used on very large NEW concrete patio (the size of a double driveway) and on the walkways beside driveway. I needed more than 1 gallon, fyi, as was recommended for the coverage. We have many mature maples and oaks all over our property and the neighbours. I didnt want leaf stains. Over the winter we did have leaves stuck in the snow/ice for 3-4 months but once melted, I did clean them off as much as possible. This spring, happy to say no stains. I am 65 year young lady and applied this myself with a sprayer, very easy. Happy with the product performance over the first winter. Protects my investment.

It worked well for my resincrete casted molds for candles but my plaster casted molds after two complete applications did not waterproof and the wax wrecked them.
