This is a simple to use device, it comes with two coarse and one fine roller that are easily interchangeable using the tool supplied. Use a coarse roller to remove the majority of hard skin then use the fine roller to give a nice smooth finish. The battery life is ample and re-charging doesn’t take long. The dust from reducing the hard skin is sucked inside the unit, this has to be cleaned out after using but isn’t difficult. I would definitely recommend the Own Harmony Electric Hard skin remover.

My Husband really pleased with this hard skin remover. Much more powerful than a previous gadget. Small & compact and lightweight too. He reckons it would run for an hour before needing charge (usb) but of course he uses it a few minutes at a time a few times a week so difficult to tell. The vacuum absorption is not perfect but catches most of the grinding. Never seen his heels looking so soft and his diabetic nurse is thrilled!

Decent product. Mine stopped charging after a few months' of use, but after sending an email to customer service with pictures and videos of the fault, plus completing their troubleshooting and replying to their follow-up emailed questions, I was sent a replacement, which is working just fine. Hopefully it will last.

We have tried to use the Harmony product and it did work when we bought it and then we packed it until I needed to use the item again and it did not work, we tried to charge it for longer period , the Harmony machine still won't work . 9 months later, I was just about to throw away the faulty machine when I made contact with Harmony customer service , they replaced the machine without question and now I have a working machine . It's completely different machine and it's still working . Their customer service are very dedicated and will help out at no extra cost . They definitely gave me great service .

I neglected my feet and it showed. My big toes had developed hard skin on them, and my heels had become thick, hard, and cracked. After being inspired to take better care of my feet following some awful friction blisters, I decided to buy this electric file. The item is pretty self explanatory to use, and there are instructions, too. I found it to charge within the 2.5 hours it says, and it holds the charge well enough that I could do both feet. I don't think the dust collector is amazing, but it is what it is. The machine itself is super easy to use, and glides over the skin with ease. It was amazing to watch it shave away the hard skin, and eventually uncover soft, new skin! I am so pleased with it, and my feet finally feel soft! The heel cracks are much reduced, and I expect with a week of moisturising, they'll ne gone now the hard skin has been taken care of. I would definitely recommend! Apologises for the state of my feet in the photos, including the friction blisters from a walking holiday!

If I was able to return it I would have, not because it doesnt do the job but I think mine is faulty as there is no digital display. So I dont know how much charge it has left and in the booklet it warns not to overcharge it. The thing itself does actually work okay, but not any better than the roller type ones which you can get for about £5-10 cheaper. I was hoping for better.

It's a good shape, easy to hold, good set of attachments included. And I love the positivity of the company behind it! Plus I think the 2 year warranty is very kind. :) My only issue to far is that the dust vacuum seems to keep it all behind the plate instead of the other conpsrtment.But, maybe that's just me needing to get used to how it works and misunderstanding it! I'm glad it sucks it up at all and it is very easy to clean anyway :)

Latest update: 25.06.2026 Yesterday I heard a whirring noise and when I tracked it, it came from the hard skin remover. It had switched on, on its own. Unattended. Luckily I hadn't stored it inside anything otherwise I wonder whether the friction from it being active could have caused a fire or heat damaged/scrapped whatever it's stored it. It was difficult to switch off at first and took several attempts. I left it on a clear surface and a little later it switched on by itself again. Today, it did the same. It's excellent for what it does but this fault that's emerged is a worry as it can be a fire risk. I've missed the return window to Amazon and, as I was so confident it was perfect, I never registered for the warranty (lesson to me). So I don't think I have any recourse. But I have written to 'Own Harmony' on their website for product support. I'll keep you updated if they reply.
