Oral7 Dry Mouth Moisturizing Toothpaste Containing Enzymes, 2.5oz

Excellent product. After years of dry mouth and trying other products I now finally have relief . I am very pleased and would hate to not have it available. First found an online ad for Oral7 with an offer of free samples of the toothpaste, mouth wash and the gel. Very quickly received the free samples. After one use of this product I immediately ordered the full size items. I highly recommend Oral7 products.

Thank God for this product! I am glad I can get it on Amazon now. I last got it from Germany. I am a Sjogren's sufferer and I relied on Biotene for years until they changed the formula. It was horrible!! Oral 7 has the protein enzymes and gives me that moisture feeling back in my mouth!!

This stuff tastes terrible. It has a little oily taste. The toothpaste does not burn my mouth/tounge like most others so I didn't give it just one star.

Thanks to other reviews, I decided to give this a try as I was ready to buy Biotene and noticed that they no longer include the enzymes. I have a legitimate prescription for Adderall and was scared of losing my teeth not wanting to look like a meth addict due to the severe dry mouth side effect. I have only been using this product for 2 weeks so far and gave it 4 stars to start with because it's the only toothpaste I was able to find that had enzymes. This is so incredibly important for dry mouth because the lack of saliva and therefore lack of enzymes will not break down food in your mouth which can cause all sorts of really nasty teeth problems. I use it with the Oral7 mouthwash. I haven't noticed that it makes my dry mouth worse as some reviewers have mentioned. I did notice that my mouth is dry when I initially rinsed with water after brushing but it's not any worse than the dry mouth I'm already experiencing, which is why I decided to try their mouthwash too. I now brush and use the mouthwash to rinse out the remaining toothpaste in my mouth. I don't rinse with water anymore as it feels like I would just be rinsing out all the good stuff and defeat the purpose of dry relief this toothpaste and mouthwash is supposed to provide. As for taste... I noticed at least a couple reviewers mentioning it tastes awful. Well, it's toothpaste... I'm not exactly trying to eat the stuff so I don't expect it to taste delicious. To me it has a light minty like flavor and slightly sweet, not overpowering or burning. But my mouth may not be as sensitive to toothpaste mint flavor in general as other users of this product. I should mention that this toothpaste does not whiten teeth. I'm vain so I still use a regular whitening toothpaste and floss before bed when I'm not expecting to eat anything, but I do use their dry mouth gel before going to sleep although I don't like that they put sorbitol in it but I guess they have to so that it would help you salivate. It is actually moisturizing although I didn't think the gel lasted as long as they claim it should. I do wake up in the morning with dry mouth, but maybe I'm not aware that I sleep with my mouth open or something. As for cost... yes, the product is expensive but I think worth the investment as it would be much cheaper than future dental bills! I will update this review if I start developing any teeth problems.

I have severe dry mouth, and dentures. My dentist recommended Biotene, but they changed their formula and it BURNED the tissues in my mouth. I was willing to try Oral7 products (Mouth Gel, Mouthwash and this Toothpaste). I do NOT like this toothpaste at all. It actually dries my mouth out terribly. I also bought the Mouthwash: Yes! Like it very much. And also the Oral7 Dry Mouth Moisturizing Mouth Gel: YES, love it! Very slick and moisturizing, though with my severe dry mouth, the effects only last a couple of hours. But it is totally worth it.

I get mouth sores due to Chemo. This is the only toothpaste I've found that does not burn the inside of my mouth.

I got this for the same reason many here did -- the US reformulation of Biotene. I also got the Oral7 Mouthwash and Tooth Gel. So I get that they're putting natural flavoring and using Xylitol which is fine, but there's literally no flavor to this at all. It tastes almost chemically. I am not a picky person too when it comes to this stuff. Mouthwash is excellent - leaves the mouth feeling hydrated and clean, naturally. So is the gel. But this toothpaste, I just can't stand the taste. Or lack thereof... Using it with my DiamondClean from Sonicare. Anyways, 5/5 for the Gel and Mouth Wash for sure.

Great for dry mouth for this toothpaste - nice mint, not too hot. Will def buy this again!

See my review on the mouthwash . I’d say the same on the toothpaste . It’s ok but not as good as biotene for severe dry mouth issues . It’s definitely more minty than biotene
