Clean Ingredients, Great Flavor — Hope New Ownership Keeps It That Way
I’ve been using Siete Taco Seasoning for years, and it’s become a staple in my kitchen. The flavor is excellent — well balanced, not overly salty, and it enhances whatever protein I’m using without overpowering it. What I love most, though, is the clean ingredient list. It’s getting harder and harder to find seasonings without fillers, additives, or unnecessary ingredients, and Siete has done a great job keeping this simple and clean. I use this regularly on ground turkey, ground beef, and ground chicken, and it works beautifully every time. It’s become my go-to taco seasoning because I know I’m getting both great taste and better ingredients. My only concern — and the reason I’m mentioning it — is that I understand Siete was recently acquired. I truly hope the new ownership keeps the ingredients and quality exactly the same. One of the biggest reasons customers like me are loyal to this brand is because of the clean formulation. For now, I still highly recommend it — just encourage buyers (like me) to keep an eye on the ingredient list if ownership changes lead to reformulation. Still one of the best clean taco seasonings out there.

Great taste
This mix is awesome. I mix one mild and one spicy together (with 2-3lbs of meat) which makes for a decently spicy taste. The flavor is very rich and far more noticeable to me than other mixes like Old El Paso, etc. I don't use any other mixes anymore. As mentioned in a few reviews, It can clot up sometimes, but that's because it specifically excludes the chemicals necessary to prevent that, unlike other mainstream mixes. Clumps make ZERO difference when you mix it up with your choice of meat... it mixes with the water regardless. Maybe you have to stir it a couple more times than you would otherwise... oh boy! Some of these reviews are also complaining about expired packets. (Takes deep breath.) First off, I have NEVER received an expired packet, and I have these on regular delivery. I've received a lot. Secondly, I guess those people don't realize you can just tell Amazon that it's expired and they'll handle it (refund, reorder, etc.). It's not returnable because it's food but I've never been denied by Amazon in any similar experience. You don't have to just accept it lol. You certainly don't have to post a review bashing the delivery of the product, instead of reviewing the product itself. Third, a few months expired is not going to noticeably affect it. It's spices--it's not going to go "bad" just like that. I HAVE accidentally purchased expired packets from local stores, but I used them and they tasted just the same as non-expired. Maybe a couple years expired is getting excessive, okay. But not the ridiculous "it expired last month! the outrage!" crap here. Do yourself a favor and don't pay attention to those people.

The BEST
The best taco seasoning I have had in my 50 years of life. Not overly salty like the others, and the spices are well pronounced and appetizing. I have these on infinite subscription, need I go on?

Siete food is the best!!!!
I discovered siete at Costco. They were carrying the Tortillas. When I found out they made taco seasonings and chips I got the variety packs. They are full of flavor and really good, it also helps with my keto diet . I recommend siete to anyone with food allergies. They are life savers!

Please read a book y'all
People need to know MSG is not artificial it is made from seaweed. Cassava flour isn't an unclean ingredient it is flour from the starchy root of a yuka plant. Y'all are a mess. For real.

Very Short Expiration Date
I have tried siete taco seasoning and like it very much. Unfortunately, the expiration date is very short. Less then 4 months and I purchased 12 packages. I just purchased a package at the grocery store with a 10 month expiration date.

DO NOT BUY **EXPIRED PRODUCTS SHIPPED***
***EXPIRED PRODUCTS SHIPPED*** The products they shipped on 4/20 we’re already expired a month ago on 3/22. They were clearly sitting wherever they were for LONG time, expired long before that I’m sure, looked like extreme heat exposure 😡 what a joke! Do not buy unless you plan on throwing your money away…
