Excellent larger-size machine at a great price
Hamilton Beach is a SUPER underrated brand, I’ve owned many of their devices over the past 20 years. Everything I’ve bought of theirs has been for more affordable than other options so it seems like a “lower quality” brand, yet they consistently have great reviews. Every Hamilton Beach device I’ve owned has performed REALLY well, and also seem to last many years or regular use. If you make large batches of anything that needs to be chopped sliced or puréed, this machine is EXCELLENT, and is far less expensive than anything of its size. I also really like the wide feed shoot, which has been lacking in the past food processors/choppers I’ve owned. I really like that everything comes apart and is easy to wash in the dishwasher top rack. This machine is perfect for larger batches of processing for canning, prepping veg for soups & salads, making large batches of hummus, and unlike my previous food processor (which was smaller and had a diff style of life attachment) this doesn’t slosh up and leak when it’s only half full of liquids.

CHEAP PLASTIC CONTAINER
Functionally this food processor is a rock star, it works beautifully. Sadly, the quality of plastic used to make the processor bowl is so poor that after 7 uses with just vegetables the lower part of the container is abraded and scratched. It is very common knowledge these days that once the surface of a plastic container is abraded both chemical leaching and microplastics will enter you food every time you use it. I reached out to the company about this issue and have received no communications from them. This is a waste of $80. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU PROCESS YOU OWN FOOD FOR HEALTH PURPOSES. Update: the company did contact me and offering to replace the large processing bowl. I'll update if it performs better than the original one I reviewed above. 5/1/25 I'm completely satisfied with the product. I've been using the new bowel for months and it has zero scratches. The company made things right by giving me a new bowel.

It's a Winner!
Love this food processor. It is easy to use and clean in the dishwasher top rack, has rubber suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place and works like a charm. I use it to chop up chicken, carrots, spinach, and puree sweet potatoes for my dog's homemade food, have not tried it for anything else.

This food processor is garbage!
I bought this food processor about this time last year. Within a couple months it quit working. I messaged Hamilton Beach and they agreed to replace it. That took almost 5 weeks. Now I've used the replacement less than 12 times because I bought another one because this one went out. I was using the other one however this one is a higher capacity one. The same thing just happened again. When they sent the first replacement, they said I could toss the one away. So I pulled it apart to see what was the issue. It has a plastic planetary gear in it that strips under normal use. The gears were literally stripped off of it. All I make in it is hummus, and other things of that nature. Nothing like crushing eyes or needing dough for an hour and I literally have it on less than 5 minutes each time I use it. I was just making a batch of hummus today, and I walk over to the sink while it's mixing up turn around and it just stopped. Super frustrated with this company and this product. My advice is do not buy this food processor. It is garbage internally it's not going to last long and you're not going to get the product support that you do with other companies. I will come back here once I hear back from them this time and post the answer. Just so you'll know whether or not the product is supported. So far not so well. I paid almost $100 for this and I have only been able to use it a dozen times in the last one maybe two dozen times. It is not worth the hassle. I'll let you guys know whether or not they come up with a resolution and what it was. I had to send the food processor back. I had to explain what I was processing at the time of failure. I make hummus in it, it was oil, Pepitas, chickpeas and spices. That stripped the teeth of the gears. I have another processor at least this time it didn’t take as long. My confidence level is not high it will last any longer. I have a black and decker food processor that has lasted 5 years, I torture it. This barely lasted 5 months. I'll be back with updates. I asked for my money back from jump street. They refused. They have the worst support consisting of email correspondence. No way to call. DO NOT BUY THIS is my recommendation.

Bought this to replace an older KitchenAid processor. I killed the plastic on my old processor by putting the parts into the dishwasher. It would no longer latch and no replacement top available. Hence the new purchase. Very pleased with the quality of this one. Even though it says dishwasher safe, I highly recommend HAND WASHING this. Chops extremely well, bowl is nice and big. Inner bowl easy to use and good size too. It's noisy, but food processors are noisy.

We are very happy with this, it makes short work of anything we need to chop, grate or blend. I like that the lid is easier to clean than our old Food Processor which had many nooks and crannies where food bits could get stuck, this unit is easier to clean. It's also as powerful as we need so yes we would recommend it.

It does a great job at grinding zucchini. If you find that the shreds coming out are too long; I would suggest that you cut the zucchini into smaller pieces before inserting them into the shoot.
