Stories about the times of troubles and the aftermath was not something I gravitated towards. What starts out as a straightforward murder mystery becomes a labyrinth of twists, big big surprises and secrets revealed. Friends become enemies and enemies become heroes. A great murder mystery becomes a character study with the question is there justice for all? Highly recommended.

Never a dull moment...just when....
I found this story captivating and full of twists and turns in the plot. I can hardly wait for season 2 The ending of season one was a "blow out" and left you shouting, "WHAT" Wonderful and full of suspense...I needed subtitles to follow the dialogue with the "sounds" of Gaelic in the speech of the characters...Wonderfully entertaining !

Depressing but good
Mixed reviews. Great but so depressing by the end of each episode. His continuing bad choices were overwhelming to view. The plots were good, but would have been better without the personal drama.

Northern Ireland-the fight’s not over
It’s an intense series. James Nesbitt was cast perfectly and plays the role of a man with great potential but deeply distressed over the past. A case of a dumped auto into the sea turns into a search for a missing person. It’s been 20 years since this Northern Ireland cop team has had to deal with issues involving the IRA, but this causes a cold case to surface, although there are forces determined to keep the past buried, or hidden. Digging up clues. . . well you can just imagine all the ramifications when one cop pushes against another. Gripping chilling drama that you’ll be thinking about long after the final episode. It’s a four hour binge-worthy dark mystery in the end leaving viewers choking between a scream and a cheer. SDH SUBTITLES are available for this series.

This is a wonderful series, I greatly enjoyed it and bought this as a gift.
This was bought as a gift. My friends like this particular actor but have never seen him in a role like this, He is usually in comedies.
