Accessories are a nice smooth slip fit into holders. Power cord and plug push and snap into place for little chance of loosening. Easy to mount. Very pleased.

I’m super impressed with this Dyson docking station. It was very inexpensive, but the quality is awesome. We’ve been using this for many months and it’s worked out perfectly. I was tired of having my Dyson sitting on the floor and now I love that it’s neat and tidy and tucked away in a corner!

My docking station came without instructions and I notice several people don't understand the assembly of the charging cord plug that goes into the vacuum. You need to thread the charging connector through the hole in the back of the unit at the top behind the flip-out section. Then the connector presses firmly into the spring-loaded piece of the flip-out section. The cord length is set accurately by the pocket in the cord groove that accepts the cylinder (molded onto the cord). Charging connector is at the top when you mount it.

Product was as described, that being said you can't charge the battery while dyson is hanging on the wall, first one I've bought so can't call it a flaw. Battery can be removed and charged seperatly, just seems odd. Came quickly, seems well made. Good compared to like items.

You’re just going to have to take my word for this, because I refuse to unscrew the legitimate Dyson dock for our V8 that we keep in our basement to do comparison photos. Too much of a hassle for a review. But I have included photos of it next to our V11 in our “Dyson Cabinet” as my husband calls it. I bought this for the new Car & Boat model hoping it would work because it did fit in our V8 dock. As you can see in the pictures, the charging cable fits perfectly on the back side of this just like the official Dyson one and works to charge the vacuum. I want to give everyone a heads up though, because once you snap that port end into the dock, it is nearly impossible to get it back out to use somewhere else. I have the same problem with the official one so that was the first thing I tried before I screwed it into the cabinet. This is kind of important to me because this vacuum will be on our boat in the summer. So, now that I know it is not easy to remove the charging cable, I am just going to buy a second one to keep on our boat. Oh and a little tip for installation, use an 1/8” drill bit to create a pilot hole before screwing the base in. That will save you a lot of trouble. Once I did that it installed quickly and easily.

Necessary to make the most use of your Dyson vacuum stand. Not sure why they’re not sold with the vacuum, since they seem to be necessary.

This is a handy accessory to Dyson hand-held vacuum cleaners to help with storage and charging. It connects to stands or to the wall and you can snake the charging cord through the back and plug the vacuum in for charging while you are hanging it up. While it is all plastic, it does seem durable. Super easy to use, this may be the handiest of all Dyson accessories.

I'm happy with this item. It fits my Dyson V7 very well, and seems durable. I decided that the screws that came with the docking station were probably too small to support the weight of the vacuum, so I used larger screws.

Dyson has dropped the ball by not including these in the newer releases. Works perfectly — def different to the older V6 version so couldn’t just use the older one.
