The Explorers Club mark their return with "Together", the quintet's third album of harmony laden sounds. Hot off the heels of "Freedom Wind", their first release which showcased their Beach Boys influences, and the triumphant follow-up "Grand Hotel", an exploration of Classic soft pop ideals, "Together" is sure to be the soundtrack for Summer 2016. Jason Brewer, founder and visionary of the band, has patterned the album in the mold of post-Pet Sounds Beach Boys classics such as Friends, Sunflower and Love You, while adding his own unique touches and flourishes of inspiration with his band mates. Listeners can expect exquisite harmonies, tight musicianship, flowing melodies, and gorgeous vocals. Standout tracks include the modern sunshine doo-wop of "California's Calling Ya", the bouncy pop of "Once In A While" and the contemplative "Quietly". "Together" is a must for fans of well-crafted pop music. Tracks : 1. Together 2. California's Callin' Ya 3. Once In A While 4. Be Around 5. Gold Winds 6. Perfect Day 7. Quietly 8. My Friend 9. No Strings Attached 10. Don't Waste Her Time 11. Before I'm Gone Review: The Harmonies tight, the melodies Strong & Catchy, and the overall mood is Jubilant - I absolutely LOVE this album. The Explorers Club is an amazing group writing wonderful, original music that is heavily influenced by the vocal harmony styles and production of The Beach Boys. This album "Together" is their third studio album, and was released on June 24, 2016. My favorite songs are "Be Around" (gorgeous tune with lovely, layered vocals), and "California's Callin' Ya" is an anthem for driving and enjoying the summer wherever you may be. The "TOGETHER" album is sunny, sincere optimism of The Explorers Club. They are a ray of sunshine we all could use. Review: Four Stars - Great album for Beach Boys fans and 60s-70s style harmonic pop.

Great Beach Boys inspired pop
Meticulously crafted late 60s/early 70s styled pop, heavily influenced by the Beach Boys with a bit of Bacharach - not a bad thing. Great vocal harmonies and instrumentation. The songs are short but there's a lot going on compositionally to keep things interesting. Ear worms galore. This is top notch stuff. Closer in style to their first album than their second ( both of those are great). This may be their best yet. It's great to see a band writing and playing this kind of quality pop music. Get it.

A soundtrack of the Summer of '16
What a great album by a great group of musicians and vocalists. They came to our town and they were so great in Jersey City we went to see them the next night in New York City. "Together" is a must for your collection if you are a fan of well written pop songs with gorgeous harminies and hooks --- Wilson inspired --- but Brewer and Boys delivered

This album will transport you
Great songwriting, immaculate production: listen to this album once and you'll think you grew up with it! This is the album I want to hear pouring out of my car radio when I'm driving home from the beach on a warm summer evening. This band keeps getting better and better; they'll remind you of music you love while maintaining their own distinctive voice.

"Brian Wilson" in aktuellen CD-Besprechungen.
