How to Draw Flowers: Step-by-Step Botanical Drawing Projects (Beginner Drawing Guides)

Self taught. I drew every flower. Much fun and learning.

Step by step guide really shows you how to draw...and I'm someone who can't draw their way out of a bag! LOL

The illustrations are well-executed and feature clear step-by-step drawings. However, I would have appreciated it if the specific plant names were included in the illustrations. In some cases, I had to consult additional resources, such as ChatGPT, to identify the subjects depicted. Furthermore, a closer reading of the accompanying description would have alerted me to the fact that the illustrations encompassed not only flowers, but also trees and other types of plants.

I like the paper to draw on right next to the instructions. After 83 years of life, I am very successful at drawing flowers. I am thrilled!

Disappointed , with each flower they then have a blank page for practice. Makes the book actually 1/2 as thick as it appears. I have my own practice paper, which is heavier

The book is really nice at teaching a step by step guide to drawing. My fault for not reading thoroughly as out of the 72 projects, only 28 are flowers. I only read the title and assumed the whole book was flowers. A very good guide to get started with. One suggestion would be to have the part being added at each step to be darker. It gets hard to differentiate between what's been drawn and what the next steps are.

I thougt there would be more tips and directions on how to make these projects. It is really rudimentary. However there are a lot of examples in the book.

Good book and quick delivery. However I am disappointed at how difficult it has become to withdraw from prime membership. Clicking on ‘end membership’ in Manage prime membership section elicits no confirmation that membership will end on last day of trial. I rarely have use for all the benefits offered so for me it is not worth being a member of prime. I do not wish to continue with my membership at the end of the trial period.

Good for beginners.
