This windscreen does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It fits well, stays in place, and works perfectly for reducing unwanted noise. Nothing fancy, just a simple, effective product that performs exactly as advertised.

It's a simple windscreen. it does what it says it does. It fits well and is a good price.

(PURCHASED FOR USE WITH RAZOR SEIREN V3 MINI) I had bought this for my recently purchased razor seiren v3 mini microphone and it worked out better than expected. On my new mic, the mute button is on top of it so in order for it to be accessible, I did have to make some modifications to the windscreen (which I didn’t mind at all). I was more concerned with the fit if anything, however in the end it couldn’t have fit any better. The windscreen was nice and snug around my mic and am confident it won’t fall off anytime soon. I haven’t tested the audio enhancement of the screen yet but I am sure it will be better with it than without it.

awesome fit for the Shure SM58! Definitely much better than the A58WS in terms of fit, even though the foam is less thick on top of the mic with respect to the Shure A58WS, meaning this will be less effective at reducing plosives but will be much more good looking.

I guess I should have looked at dimensions because this cover barely fit my condenser at home. Although, it does still help reduce the popping considerably. Not too bad for less than five bucks. Looks kinda funny Will do for now until I can find the proper one. Made in China

Very Goods

Purchased to use with a Shure SM58. It's OK but not great. The foam is a good color of black (not too grey, blue, or purple but a true black). The foam is a good texture if that word describes the open cell nature in that it's not overly rough as in holes too big to be a rough texture but it's not smooth like closed cell foam. It's a good balance between those two extremes. The fit on an SM58 is fair. It moves around a bit rotating on the wire mesh windscreen and as a result is often askew or slightly tilted and not straight on. (If crooked pictures hanging on walls bugs you this may be a constant bother.) Then, at the bottom, the skirt doesn't taper to the mic body very cleanly and just kinda hangs in mid-air around the mic body as if it doesn't know where to go. The over-all look then becomes a bit awkward and unpolished to the mic. It would be better if the bottom of the foam were sculptured to angle in and taper off more. As to discoloration of the sound, I do sound for TV and can hear a bit (just a bit) of muddy tone with the windscreen on vs with it off, but only with headphones. When used with my QSC system there's no detectable difference on or off the mic over the PA to my ear. As to effectiveness, yes, it blocks wind including breath pops for a tangible difference with it on the mic. So overall it's a good purchase just with a few limitations. It's cheap though. I'm constantly amazed at how costly windscreens can be especially name brand ones made for specific models of mics. So here's a lesser-cost alternative that works but with a couple shortcomings.

This foam windscreen fits very well on my microphone others with dimensions similar to the e835. This windscreen is made of a firm and dense foam material, which provides good protection against unwanted wind noise and plosives. It's 10mm thick, measured from the bottom. I've tested it against a basic pop filter and they both sound similar. I did not fully put on the foam windscreen on the mic. I left around an inch from the top to provide a gap for better plosive rejection. It's worth noting that the foam has limited stretchability. It's best suited for microphones with similar dimensions to the e835 or smaller. For larger-sized mics, this will most likely not fit.

Schiuma compatta. Calza perfettamente. Pulisce molto la voce da pop e sibilanti fornendo anche un appena discreto isolamento. Purtroppo non é un pop filter con tessuto sottile dove l'effetto è più naturale. In ogni caso per la praticità è la migliore soluzione. Un tocco sull'eq e sulla presenza della voce e il gioco è fatto.
