What is the difference in zymox enzymatic shampoo and medicated? Zymox site just shows the enzymatic.

Went to the Zymox website zymox.com and called their contact #. The Zymox representative confirmed that they are the same product and the "medicated" shampoo is just an older label. FYI The representative also said that their enzymatic products should not be used in conjunction with Chlorhexidine. I mention this because that is what my vet told me to use to treat my dog's pyoderma/staph infection.

What are the active ingredients?

Not sure about what exactly are the active ingredients. But can tell you my chihuahua was very it itchy and loosing his hair. The vet in Vero Beach Fl. recommended it to me and it worked. Must wet dog first, apply shampoo and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes.

How does this work with yeast in the paws and the smell?

I imagine it would work great! This is the kind of shampoo you'd want. Natural so it's not harsh but it's made for stuff like yeast. You can also try iodine or Espom salt soaks for the paws with warm water.

Does this product smell good, and will it make my dog smell good? What kind of fragrance does it have?

it has a very pleasant smell....a clean smell...i use it on my pug, which makes her smell great, however as far as controlling her itchiness, I would say this product fails her...she still itches and is flea free...she has skin allergies though
