I really like the cutting board. It’s everything that I wanted. But, it had a chip out of the top side about the size of a quarter. It looked like something sharp hit it on the side and chipped it out. I was able to repair it myself. And I’m sure that it will be a good cutting board.

Looks great and size is perfect for my counter! I ordered the 15” x 20” x 1.5” size. Just know it’s best to season the board with mineral oil and or a wax mineral oil combination before use. Look online for instructions from America’s best test kitchen. My cutting board in the photos have not yet been seasoned. I purchased a Boos brand 2-piece Care Set 16 Oz mystery oil & 5 oz Block board cream $25.95. No sponge, just use a cloth to apply the wax. PROs 1. No Feet/2 Sided. One side with juice groove to catch juices, for cutting meats or juicy fruits, watermelon. The other for cutting, chopping vegetables or non-juicy items. 2. America’s Test Kitchen Winner – Teak wood. 3. No More Plastic Cutting Boards. Plastic shavings or dust can get in your food and be ingested and PFAS causes health concerns CONs: 1. Maintenance.& Cleaning To avoid cracking wars and an optimal cutting surface, I plan to wax my board at least once a month regular maintenance. 2. Cleaning.. Be sure to wash both sides of the board and dry thoroughly as to not cause any warping on one side or the other. Then always store it standing on its side with good ventilation away from heat. In Conclusion: This teak board is moisture and mold resistant and looks beautiful. I did a lot of research and my first choice was the-more expensive, but worth it Larchwood maple, end grain cutting board from Larchwood Canada. I recommend you buy this teahouse cutting board. It comes in various sizes and makes a beautiful and healthy way to prepare all your foods. Good health and joy!

Okay, so I bought this cutting board, right? Teak wood, bougie af. But listen, this thing *stays put*. My counters are basically ice rinks, but this bad boy doesn't budge. 10/10 would recommend if you, like me, value all ten fingers. Plus, it's pretty. I'm in love. Someone send help (or more importantly, recipes)!

My wife and I love it. We wanted to get away from plastic and get something that would hold up well. Board has been great after months of daily use. Dont forget to reseason it so it doesnt dry out too much.

So I've owned this cutting board over a year and a half now. (May 2021-Jan 2023) It's been a great wood cutting board! I try to maintain it, keep it clean & then oil it occasionally when it needs it, and I've really had a good experience so far. Knock on wood! (check out my horrible puns) Anyways, I've not used the board with a "cleaver"... just knife work, with a Santoku style cutlery, Nakiri style cutlery.. that's it. I've cut onions, potatoes, peppers, chicken quarters up, ham, for what its worth? It's cleaned up easily, not had any issues that I know of? When I wash the board, I do use mild dish soap & a brush/sponge, and when I let it dry, I read, that its best, to TURN IT UP ON ITS EDGE.. so like literally resting the cutting board, on its longest edge, in the sink.. vertically, so that it DRYS slower, thus preventing "Splitting issues"... I read that splitting issues occur, when you lay your board down, & it drys too fast. B/c a bigger surface area, leads to drying a lot quicker. I don't know if that's true. What I can say from personal experience, is, this cutting board, has held together so far, following this practice. I hope to learn a bit more about this in the future, but wanted to pass that wisdom along. Its just "anecdotal" knowledge so far. Also on a side note, make sure you buy food grade safe oil to go with this cutting board & use it occasionally. You don't have to do it after every wash as far as I can tell. But occasionally you'll notice the board seems "dryer" than usual.. & that's the time you need to rub on a thin coat of oil and let it soak. Good luck!
