Mindplace DeepVision Ganzfeld Display - for Kasina & Limina Meditation Systems

Good item. Works as advertised.

Missing the rest of it, its just some cheap glasses and doesnt even come with the whole kit in the photos. Dont waste your time on this piece of trash. And then on top of that these are made for children or something cause they dont even fit on my face so even if it did come like in the photos I wouldn't have even been able to use them. Unless you have a small head if youre over or around 6'1" these will not fit your face.

I would consider this a near-essential upgrade to the Kasina system. Not that the Kasina is "broken" as it is, but this increases the range of experiences, pleasantness and encourages regular use to really pushes the Kasina into a new level of utility. Prior to this, my wife didn't particularly enjoy the the Kasina experience...that has changed. The closed-eye system is great, but since you are filtering through the flesh of the eyelids, the color balance is skewed (the patterns don't seem as crisp, but that's perceptual). With the Deep vision you can use the system either open OR close eyed. The open eyed gives incredible color-organ experiences with a wider variety and the close eyed still delivers the original experience for semi-conscious experiences. I'm not going to comment or claim any specifics about neuro-physical effects or benefits, but even if I am just gaining relaxation or entertainment - that's fine. The skirts are maybe just a little small for my face so the isolation is very good, but not total - and tht's a face shape issue. the glasses themselves are little deeper (protrude out from the face) more than the picture suggests, but I believe that's probably needed to ive adequate diffusion before hitting the ganzfeld screen (the whole point is to not have artifacts in the viewing field after all) We are currently experimenting with the open-eye session this season to casually see if it has any S.A.D. effects (though, obviously the results will be anecdotal). But as an overall experience. I think this addition enhances the core product immensely

The "missing link" for my Kasina :)! I've ben a fan of mindplace products for as long as I an remember. I have the Proteus, Thoughtstream ad the Kasina. The Kasina was really a new level up. They have always had great customer service whenever I have contacted them with questions and for the money I think the pest products in their category. However The ganzframes I never was 100% happy with until now. I had planned on trying paper for light diffusion but after getting these for my Kasina I don't need to. The weight is OK especially if you are lying down. I hope they come out with an EEG module / "engine" in the future. I'm currently using the Kasina with an Thoughtstream USB all through the MindWorkstation Pro software on a laptop and have been very happy with how it all works as a full package / bundle. The Kasina alone was a big step up from the Procyon, but the flexibility and features running it all on the MindWorkstation software is super simple using USB hook-up (I fumbled for a while trying to implement audiostrobe via the laptop's audio jacks. but the MindWorkstation prompts to convert to MWS file extensions when saving sessions to the Kasina. My next addon is either the NeuroSky MindWave Mobile BrainWave Starter Kit or an EPOC headset to add EEG to the MindworkStation Pro to have it function with the Kasina. Woud be neat if Mindplace has something with EEG going on in the future although my Thougtstream is added to the Kasina functionality very easy as an "engine" to the sample programs through the MindWorkstation and I need the laptop to run it all but an upload my sessions to the Kasina and think the Thoughtstream can interface direct with a Kasina (I had been playing around with it a while ago and may be wrong but just use the mIndWorkstation right now as its so easy to hook all items up via USB). In a nutshell if you have the Kasina I feel you'll not be disappointed getting these ganzframes as it will take it all to a new level - I think the MindWorkstation pro is key to really unlocking the potential and simplicity of using (especially adding biofeedback easily to sessions to the Kasina) but it will work without and if you just want to just use basic sessions, it may actually be your best (and most cost effective) approach as its really for the pro user who likes to tinker. These ganzframes were a little pricey but work perfect without a hitch and I'm glad I got them! They are an simpleswap out for the regular set. I expect in time they will be the normal pair that comes with it as they work so much better.

These Kasina DeepVision Ganzfeld glasses are not exactly the same as previous versions. They have a cheaper black plastic ear frames than the fully moulded white pair in the order page screenshot. They feel flimsy & only just go behind my head. With that said they still do the trick but I can see they may not last as long.

Dont waste your money. They are not well made and easily broken. More importantly though there are no programs specifically designed for them and the programs that are on there do not work well with them. I find they are ok as a gimmick for short term use but do not allow any real involement as you can get with eyes closed. I also dont really rate the kasina very much any longer. It is dificult to programme onesself and there hasnt been any development of the existing programmes nor any additions. btw it wont say varified here as I bought from amazon uk

I've been using light sound machines since the 90s, had the Nova Pro 100 and the Proteus (as well as others), both excellent machines although the Nova was very large compared to the Proteus. Mind Place makes the Proteus and it was for several years my favorite. When the Kasina came out I picked one up and it offered a new experience unlike other LS machines. I was very pleased with it and still am, it is by far the most advanced machine especially for its size, program-ability and price. I just received these new glasses and they take a great machine to new levels. I will be using them in place of the really good glasses that came with the Kasina. I should point out that they are much thicker than the originals (for obvious reasons) and they look similar to a pair of VR glasses or a jewelers magnifying glasses. Having an open eye experience really changes the dynamic of the whole system making it even more effective than before. You can still close your eyes (the experience is much different, lights are different colors) if you so desire and I do some during a long session. If you own a Kasina, get these glasses, you will love them. If you don't own the Kasina....your brain is missing out.

I have been experimenting wish AVS and meditation for about 20 years now. I have the Proteus and then the Kasina. I have also tried different glasses offered by Mind place who really are on the leading edge. Everything I tried had advantages but I was very keen to try these glasses and was delighted to find they were at last on the market. They are fantastic!!! A whole new experience on three different levels. Eyes open, eyes half shut and closed eyes. Each one gives a different feel and stimulation but the eyes open really push the boat out. The colours are simply beautiful and depending on the program chosen, will stimulate or soothe. Meditation is easy and they do offer a feeling of alternative reality. They would be a godsend to a stressed out mind after a trying day. They can also be used to set the mood for the day in the morning, or to quieten the mind towards a deep and maybe lucid-dreamed sleep last thing at night. I highly recommend them and also Mind Place. You have access to a great online community where any problems are addressed and many ideas stimulated by other members of the community. The permutations are endless and there is support with everything. If you are very clever you can create your own programs to your own individual requirements. I stick at using my mp3 to play self improvement tapes through the machine, so I know I am accessing the prime brainwave pattern to achieve my goals. It really is a machine for the future and deserves to be used by families for brain health instead of sitting vegetating in front of the TV. :-) Highly recommended in every way.

edited - manufacturer does not answer email, webform or contact request, they seems to have vanished! Far to much money to spend on fly-by-nights! Not only that the glasses were very poor quality and now dont even work. My advice is stay well clear of this shoddy outfit!

A very relaxing experience. My head doesn't really have a "off" setting, and I have to work quite hard to relax... I use sound and massage units to quieten my mind, These glasses work wonderfully with my Kasina MindSpa - a nice alternative to the dark glasses. I like having the choice.
