I bought this to remove the Instant Pot inner pot after pressure cooking (IP 3-qt. Duo). As we 'pot heads' all know, it can be a little tricky to get under the lip of the inner pot full of yummy goodness to remove it after pressure cooking, because that little pot dude is steaming HOT. What a great little pair of grip holders to make things easier! You do need to pay attention to assure you get a good grab & watch out for slipping due to wetness, but I found I got the hang of it pretty quickly, without much effort. As with any new tool, just need to learn how to use it. I have small hands & it's very easy to keep the tools clamped with no effort, even with the weight of a full pot. You do need to use both clamps to remove a full pot. The silicone provides a really good grip & is also very useful removing pot-in-pot containers as well, without having to get your hands inside the main pot. One small thing to watch out for - there's a little metal doodad that locks the clamp closed via an indentation in the plastic part of the handle. Just a light press unlocks it, but sometimes it twirls to the underside when open & you can't clamp. No big, you just have to watch it. I hope that makes sense...if you look at the product picture, hopefully you can see the metal 'lock' hanging down. It would be nice to have the indentation to hold that little metal part when the tool is open. Just something to be aware of when using. I just love this thing! The pair stores nicely in the closed position. This little tool has also solved many other cooking issues than I ever imagined & find myself using for much more than just my Instant Pot! I find I'm using it quite often for handling hot microwave dishes or removing hot pans from oven & stove, as well as rinsing stuff in very hot water in the sink or anything you don't want to touch. Just a handy little tool! I am more than pleased with my purchase & it seems very well made, light & sturdy, affordable. The seller followed up several times before & after my order to make sure I had received, was happy & there were no issues. Great customer service in my book. I do recommend this gadget & can't imagine doing without it now that I've been using it so many times a day!

A very good idea to save yourself from burn fingers when you're potholders are not handy. They take a little getting used to and you can fumble a lot until you get a good grip on the edge of a pot or pan when you need it. They feel very sturdy in your hand and do not cause problems.You need a little practice in order to save yourself from a serious burn on the top of your hand. Pull out an oven rack that has a hot pan on it, and do not reach into the oven with the grippers. If you are heating frozen food that comes in a flimsy tray, be sure to use both grippersat the same time or you will end up with a mess. A little practice will make it a worthwhile gadget.

Hey everyone, I just had to share this find with you! So, I was feeling lazy (who isn't? ), so I unscrewed all the handles off my pans to make them dishwasher-safe. But then I realized I needed something to handle those hot pans, which is when I discovered these Hot Plate Gripper Clips Holder Tongs. Let me tell you something: these small assistants are a game changer! I can now chuck my cookware into my tiny dishwasher without fear. No more fiddling with handles and such. They're simple to use, and the design is rather appealing. The clips keep the hot plates securely in place, preventing me from burning my fingers or dropping anything. But here's the thing: I wish they had a stronger grip. I think they could use a little more energy to hold the plates more tightly. However, that is not a deal breaker for me. These are great ! Handled really well with one hand only . Easy on your hands especially if one suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome. Will be one of my go to kitch tools !

I love this for grabbing bowls and whatnot out of the microwave. It's soooo great and also works with bowls in my pressure cooker or steamers. No more fiddling with cloth that gets soiled from dipping into the bowl and the food also stays nice because some metal and silicone won't be harming my food. I get the ick from cloth soaking in my soup or broth out of the microwave, hah!

I was skeptical, but they work great. I use a lot of Pyrex bowls for heating things in the microwave and they can get pretty hot. Trying to take them out with a towel or mitts doesn't work very well. These grips do a surprisingly good job of solving that problem. I gave them a 4 because I'm not sure how long they will hold up.

I ordered this 3 pack hot plate gripper set from Bonison - they are awesome. The stainless steel one is made well, its super durable and works well for even heavy things like a full size instant pot. Even though it flexes under use, it retains its shape due to its strength. Its easy to wash because it can be put in the dishwasher. The green grippers are great for all sorts of dishes and bowls. It's curved lips clamp onto dishes and bowls with its silicone pads. When used properly and with caution, they make life a lot easier, not having to use silicone trivets to hold something hot. If using both clamps at the same time, its the safest option in my opinion, so your hands are never at risk of anything hot spilling on them. There is always a risk of a dish or bowl slipping but the harder you grip it, the least likely it would slip. Just have to make sure its not clamping onto a wet/dirty surface. The green clamps are a bit more of a pain to clean because there are so many crevices inside the handle but I find they usually don't get dirty even after a lot of uses. The handles are extremely durable and hard plastic. I like how the handles have a security loop to keep it clamped together during storage. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these items and would recommend them for any kitchen.

Purchased these for pulling pots out of my Instant Pot, and they work great. Also great for taking hot plates out of microwave and oven. I don't carry the plates or bowls to far, but for getting them to the counter these work great. No problem with the pads falling out either, and I like the way the metal lock clips on the end of the handles are so easy to slip on with a quick flick of my wrist.
