Bought these as Christmas presents back in 2020. They have several mats marked and color coded for cutting certain items. Even though some people are very specific on that, our household is not. I just never cut vegetables on the same mat I used for raw meat. Mats have been hand washed and put in dishwasher without drying cycle. They do tend to curl if washed in dishwasher. The wood has held up great with of course I need to oil the wood to give it shine again. Everything is easy to clean. The board is a bit bulky and wish there was an option for an even larger size, but these are working for now. Boards do get cut marks on them easily, but so far they have not weakened to need replacements yet. For those I bought for Christmas, they still have theirs and love them. I would highly recommend and order again.

I bought the older model twice over the last 5 years or so. I cook a lot and over time, the product does wear but I would say it’s great quality, easy to clean without any lingering smells, and looks beautiful in the kitchen. The bamboo for the newer model is darker than it used to be, but I like it. The mat graphics are also colorless which I actually prefer because it’s more sleek. My mats fit the board, so no worries there. Definitely buy!

I never thought I could have strong feelings about something as basic & utilitarian as a cutting board, but holy cow--this cutting board. This cutting board is the best. It shocks me when I cook in other people's kitchens and they have a pile of random assorted cutting boards instead of this one awesome product. I originally purchased two or so years ago because I was moving into a micro-studio apartment and needed to save cabinet/counter space wherever I could; I have since moved into a bigger place with substantially more storage space in the kitchen--I could stow away a dozen cutting boards if I was so inclined--but I still haven't bought another cutting board since. The bamboo board looks great on its own (I actually keep it out on the counter at all times) and is very durable, but the mats are what I really love. I've read other reviews complaining that they get damaged over time, but...hello? Isn't that the purpose of them? You're cutting stuff up on them with sharp knives. I cook very frequently and as a result yeah, the mats have some marks on them, but once you're all done and you slide the mats back into the board, does it really matter? I'm also a bit obsessive about cross-contamination, so being able to just toss the mat I used for chicken in the dishwasher and sub in a fresh-n-clean one for veggies is supreme. Bottom line: Get this cutting board. It will change your kitchen experience and probably improve your quality of life overall tbh.

I really like the concept and overall quality of it. The bamboo base looks nice on the counter, and the color-coded mats are a practical way to keep things organized for different types of food. The mats themselves are flexible and easy to clean, and having multiple options in one place is very convenient for everyday cooking. The only issue I have is with the storage space inside the tray. The slot feels a bit too tight for all the mats, so pulling one out can be a bit of a struggle. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does take away from the otherwise smooth experience.

I particularly like this board vs. others because the bamboo housing not only conveniently holds the boards but because it's robust and well made. I also like that the cutting sheets aren't electrically colored the way many comparables are. Our household color palette is more subdued and less Sesame Street, so this blends in a little better. The sheets are flexible enough but sturdy, and while they'll mark over time with chopping and slicing, it would take some serious hacking to get through them and down to the bamboo. Love that it consolidated 4 other 1/2" thick cutting boards into one, making for easier storage, too. **UPDATE** After a week of use, the board developed a crack along the grain of the bamboo. Bamboo is notorious for being a fickle mistress, that way, so I wasn't surprised, though I was disappointed. I contacted Seville directly and, after sending in a picture, they sent me a replacement board quickly. So, while the initial quality failed to meet expectations, the customer service will keep my review at a 5 star rating.

I replaced an old plastic board and an old glass cutting board with this one and I wish I had done it sooner. I love that there are so many mats. You don't just get one for meats and one for veggies. There are seperate mats for beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, cheese, bread and one general mat with no picture designated for serving. Not only are the mats color coded, they have a small picutre in one corner designating what food group they are to be used for which is great for my kids. The mats perform just as well on the counter as they do on the cutting board. We have very sharp expensive knives and I haven't noticed any dulling of the knives or any damage to the mats. I also love how the mats are stored in the back of the cutting board. Brilliant. The last thing I need is to have more things cluttering up my counters or drawers. Lastly, the size is great. I was concerned because I didn't want to end up with a small cutting board and this one is nice and large. I haven't had the board long enough to see if it will warrant oiling but picked up a bottle of oil just in case. July 2013; Still as happy with it as when I purchased it. Some of the mats have become bowed, but I believe that's a result of my "creative" dishwasher loading. I take advantage of their flexibility to cram as much stuff in one load as I can, which probably I shouldn't do.

Ive had this for 12 years and ive loved it. The mats crack eventually but they are a standard size so easy and cheap to replace. Love this cutting board and look forward to having it for more years to come.

This thing is great. I love the different sheets with the icons to keep track of what you use them for. It stores them and is easy to access them again. I have a small counter, so I wish I could just leave it out and let it have it's own space: but I have to lean it against the wall in between our dry rack and the wall, but that's ok. It's still so easy to pull out just a sheet if I want one, or use the whole boad with the sheet on top of it. The wood seems well crafted, thick and sturdy. There are grooves for the sheet to sit in when it's on top of the wooden board, so it doesn't slip at all. It also came with a pamphlet so you can re-order sheets: genius! I've used sheets like these in the past and they do eventually curl up if you don't store or dry them properly, but 1. It has storage so you'll keep them flat as long as you put them away and 2. These haven't curled up on me yet, although I've only had a couple months, but I'm not going to assume they will unless/until they actually do. I also like the variations and quantities of sheets. There is also 1 unmarked, grey colored one for misc. use. I like that too.

After wrong item being delivered the seller fixed the problem and sent out the right item. The chopping board is very good. Looks like it will last for ages

This is the best cutting board, just for sheer convenience alone! I love everything about it! Space saving, convenient, healthy (no wood scoring and absorbing bacteria, no cross contamination), looks great. Whoever created this design is simply genius.

ich wollte mir ein sehr schönes Schneidebrett holen und bin hier drauf gestoßen also erwarte ich nur ein Brett was io verarbeitet ist mit den matten die in die Einsparung passen. was bekommt man: ein sehr solides Schneidebrett wo keine einzige matte in die Einsparung passt also gut zurückschicken und neu bestellen mein Fazit: 2x mal exakt das gleich schlecht produzierte Brett bekommen wo nicht 1 matte passt. was sehr schade ist

It arrived missing all the colored inserts. Just got the board 🤷🏻‍♀️

This Seville Classic Cutting Board is very cleverly designed. Having the 7 colour coded matts virtually "inside the board" means it's great space saver on both counter and cupboard. Being flexible, the cutting matts are easy to clean. In terms of value for money I feel it was a bit overpriced but, having said that, I have no regrets for buying it.
