UPDATE | 3.5 years later, I still find this to be the most efficient and absolute best way to store toilet tissue. It utilizes minimal visual space and has held up a lot of abuse from the fam. ORIGINAL REVIEW | I purchased the White Home Plate Toilet Paper Dispenser for $45.00 and it arrived quickly and undamaged. This is a brilliant design, both in terms of function and appearance! I had been searching for a solution to storing a considerable volume of toilet paper within reach as this was perfect. I already had the plunger and toilet bowl scrubber in white by SimpleHuman. The 3 items look great together! Normally, bathroom essentials such as plungers, bowl scrubbers, and rolls of toilet paper make a bathroom look cluttered. These items actually enhance the appearance and totally amp up the function! I particularly love how it doesn't at all look like a toilet paper reserve. When I initially placed it in one of the bathrooms, I actually had to point out what it was to my family as they thought it was just a random little table, Lol. Since it accommodates up to 12 rolls, no one has ran out of tissue, not once! It also works with a variety of sizes and brands. It even fits the oversized Charmin and Cottonelle rolls. It consumes minimal physical and visual space and provides a streamlined look. It can be placed in the most narrow powder rooms. The handle is another brilliant feature as it makes it easy to open the lid and transport. Wondering if the rolls get stuck? These guys already thought that out. The bottom is slightly tilted. This slope helps the rolls get out better. We've never had an issue getting a roll out from the dispenser slot at the bottom. Personally, I prefer to place the unit with the dispenser slot in the back, as opposed to the front. It's still accessible, but makes it less obvious that it holds toilet paper. The overall quality of the material is good. It appears to be made from some type of thin sheet metal covered with a plastic epoxy coating. One word of caution: The lid can bend easily. It got stuck once and bent slightly as I attempted to pry it loose. So be gentle. Other than this, it's worked beautifully.

Really love it. Living in a shoebox in NY, I constantly look for storage solutions. This design is incredible. It takes up so little footprint and fits perfectly between the toilet bowl and the wall, and is very functional. I hate having to go to the deli store to get a couple of rolls of toilet paper at a time. Now I can get 12 rolls at a time, although if you get the larger rolls, they won't come through the hole on the bottom. You will have to retrieve the larger rolls by removing the top, which is not a big deal. I put a wonderful Olavie diffuser and body scrub on the top and it looks really nice. It's a must have for any small apartment living!

I really appreciate how much storage capacity this provides while taking up hardly any space. We live in a small condo & this item enables us to buy toilet paper in bulk at Costco and store it out of the way and near where it is needed. Since this is metal, I can’t imagine ever needing to buy another one for the rest of my life, which is great. It is also lightweight and easy to move around. One downside is that the lid falls off fairly easily, and it makes a huge clattering noise which is a bit jarring. It is also kind of a pain to get the toilet paper roll out of the bottom. But all in all, it’s worth it for the storage capacity.

I bought this item when it was on sale - $45 is a lot for a toilet paper holder but this item is so nice. It is a great quality and looks beautiful in our bathroom. It fits perfectly between the toilet and the wall in our small bathroom. It can hold a full 12 rolls of toilet paper at once so there is no need to find additional storage in your linen closet. I put an air freshener and a little plant on top and it looks even cuter. It is a great quality and I don't expect to ever have to purchase another one, so in the end the higher price is okay for me.

Now-a-days, toilet paper rolls are like 4x + rolls in one, so unless you're using the cheap standard size rolls, odds are, you wont be able to pull one thru. I do like the look of this thing, and that it fits nicely between my toilet and counter, it's sturdy- made of metal. Just needs a bigger hole.

This is awesome. I haven't seen anything quite like it and it perfectly fit my needs. I have a small bathroom with very little storage, so one normal size package of toilet paper took up way too much room. Most toilet paper roll holders fit like 3-4 rolls in them and they're exposed, which I think looks tacky. This is small enough to fit in a very small space between my vanity and toilet, yet holds an entire package of toilet paper. I have like 12 rolls in there right now! It's expensive for what it is in my opinion, but considering it's the only thing I could find to do the job, it's worth it. Super excited about this purchase! 6 month update*** THIS IS STILL MY FAVORITE THING EVER! I bought a new house with a much larger bathroom. Even with all this extra space, I’m obsessed with my toilet paper holder. It’s so simple and fits perfectly between the toilet and vanity. It stores so much toilet paper in the most discreet and compact way. I couldn’t imagine not having one of these now!

Happy with this. We replaced a standing wooden toilet paper cabinet with this. The old one held 4 rolls of TP if you used the tissue spot on top for a roll of tp...seemed like we were having to refill every other day...which is a pain since we keep the excess rolls in the basement! So with a large family we needed more on-hand-volume! It's very well made, solid metal with a plastic top...not the most attractive in my opinion, but works in our slightly more modern bathroom and the 12 rolls it holds it a definite bonus for us! We buy Charmin tp and found that the biggest rolls don't fit well through the hole...you can get them out, mind you...but you have to shimmy and pull to do it. We don't normally buy that size...that pack was a fluke...I believe the ones we normally buy are double rolls and they fit fine. It is nice a slim, too, so it fits well between our toilet and sink in our very small bathroom. It also holds a small plant nicely :) My youngest refills it as her chore and has no trouble at all...she is 10. The hardest part is reaching to get the next roll out which is all the way to the floor...no big deal if you are not very pregnant or very overweight.

Even though the larger rolls of tissue we buy can't easily be pulled through the opening at the bottom of this toilet tissue stocker, we're still pleased with our purchase. We simply remove the lid to grab a roll. In fact, I prefer this option to using the bottom opening. This is as compact as I hoped, has a streamlined abd unobtrusive appearance ( perfect for small spaces) and fulfills it's purpose: keeping plenty of toilet paper rolls nearby, easily accessible, within arm's reach. I actually wish that opening at the bottom wasn't there and have raised the stocker above floor level . If placed on the floor, the opening exposes tissue to moisture from water, floor cleaner, and..,ugh...certain splatters.

Very good idea for my toilet holder and keep everything carrying toilet room smart and tidy

Bathrooms never have enough storage and this is simple and clean looking and sits right beside the toilet and stores a whole big package of toilet paper. So it frees up a lot of space for me and I really like it! Wish I had it years ago!
