5M GT2 Timing Belt, Upgrade Non-Slip Version, Width 6mm, Fit for 3D Printer and Most Belt Driven Printers

I got this 5M GT2 timing belt for my 3D printer to replace the old one that was starting to slip. It works well and fits perfectly with my printer’s 6mm width setup. I needed two sections of about 2 meters in length of this GT2 timing belt for my Zero G Mercury One custom CoreXY 3D printer build.Unlike other rubber GT2 belts, this one has fiber reinforcement and resists stretching - very similar to the original Gates product.The tooth profile of this belt is identical to Gates and meshes with my toothed idlers perfectly. In the year of constant 3D printing with this belt, I have seen no belt degradation of any sort (no fraying and no cracking).CoreXY builds are especially taxing on timing belts because of their forces, and back and forth bending of the belt as it runs through the pulleys. I run this 3D printer very hard and have had no problems whatsoever. I would buy this belt again - no complaints!

I recently bought my first CNC router and have been pulling my hair out (and I don't have much to begin with, so that in itself is problematic) with the OEM belts skipping steps. I tried tightening. I tried loosening. I just couldn't turn my back on again project for fear of them skipping and screwing up the project.SO.... I found this belt and liked the description indicating that it likely had a better gripping surface, so I gave it a try.And boy am I glad! Deeper cuts at faster speeds and not even an inkling of slippage!Don't tighten it too much though. The tensile strength isn't great. Hopefully that doesn't become an issue down the line. If it does, I'll update my review, but as for now, I'm really happy I found this!

Perfectly fixed my anycubic 3D printer broken belt, have enough to repair a few kore times as well.

This belt works great on my custom 3D printer, but I did notice a slight variation in the width of the belt. It seems that a portion of it was not cut perfectly square, and this did require me to shave a bit of it off because it was frequently rubbing on parts of my printer while running.Other than that, this belt was great and has held up well the last few months. I haven’t had to adjust the tension of the belt after installing it, which leads me to believe it doesn’t stretch easily but is nice and rigid instead. I would purchase it again if I build another 3D printer!

I upgraded the belt on my 3D printer since the OEM belt was pretty cheap. You can immediately tell the difference in strength and durability. I bought a spool to be able to re-belt the printer several times in case of damage to the belts, rather than hoping that a pre-cut belt would even fit.

Black belt for comparison, brow in the one I got.You can easily see that teeth are inconsistent and there is no fiber reinforcement.So I wouldn't recommend to buy it
