Easy on the hands.
Great construction quality, easy on the skin. Because this hangboard is much easier on your skin, it is a much better value than the slightly cheaper plastic hang boards. I agree with their claim that simpler is better. I really don't see the need for a dizzying array of different sized holds/pockets that the plastic ones offer. Slight down side: does not really have sloper holds to speak of. Nice and wide to vary your grip position. It might be bigger than you expect, so measure out the space you want to place it. Update: As I got a little stronger, I am beginning to appreciate the quality of the wood and efficiency of this board more. The slippery nature of wood forces you to control your movements more. I like this hang board more and more

Nice but made from plywood
Nice hang options. Plywood has a little give on small pockets. My other boards are solid wood and have a sturdier feel. 2 of the mounting screws are not on 16” centers. Not sure why??

would have been perfect if the holes to mount it on the wall ...
would have been perfect if the holes to mount it on the wall were 16 inches apart so they would line up with studs in walls. I ended up opening up my wall to add a horizontal 2/4 support beam to get this thing on the wall. the drywall work wasn't ideal but now that its on the wall im very happy with the product. Nice texture, great CNC craftsmanship, and nice simple design.

I've been looking for a simple hangboard for years. I love wood but I don't need the thousand of edges or holds. This is perfect! High quality, great feel, right size! I'll post a follow up review after a few weeks with it, but right now I am super happy with it!

Solid design
Returned it because there were some chips by the holes on both sides from the drilling process. In hindsight, I think I was being too picky. I would recommend this hangboard to anyone looking for a good sturdy design.

Quality control issue
Wood block seems very nice in qualityand design. I recieved a crooked screw and I am unable to mount this safely. Someone put together the sealed pack of screws and should watch out for this.

Good looking board!
Looks good, price is nicer than other brands but still expensive for mulled wood... Do wish the mounting holes were the standard 16” or a multiple of to go strait into studs
