In its Price Range it Excels!
I love music. I'm also somewhat, by modern standards, old-fashioned in that I still love CDs. Therefore it is important to me that I am able to hear them at their best. However, the most expensive does not always equate to the best for your needs (read those last three words in italics). Sure, I could have spent several hundred pounds on a system with all the bells and whistles, functions and features that I would, in all probability, never use. Hence, this fabulous little unit. It's a Sharp, which is a good start for me. I have bought numerous Sharp electricals through the years and have always found them reliable and good value. It's compact, which is a must in my limited-space flat. It looks cool, not a 'must' for me... but it helps :-) The sound quality on CD playback is pretty darn good for a unit of its size and output. The added bonus of adjustable bass and treble on the RC handset is a boon. It has Bluetooth connectivity, for those that need that sort of feature and also a single USB port, handily on the front of the set. So, would I recommend this particular make and model? In a flash, yes! I would suggest its ideal uses are for people like me who want something decent at a reasonable price that sounds good, too. I think it would make an ideal 'first' CD player for the inexperienced or technophobes who are put off by all the knobs, buttons and jargon (guilty as charged...) This set takes less than five minutes to set-up and about as long to learn how to use the RC handset! Dare I say it's 'idiot-proof'? A lovely product at a great price. What more could you ask for?

Brilliant budget Stereo.
Cracking little stereo. DAB signal from the internal Aerial is good. Bluetooth connectivity is quick and the sound is excellent.

Good quality for the price tag, cheap and still decent audio equipment
I bought this cheap HiFi to put it in my home office and listen to music while working, simple thing. The radio and CD sound is great, for a little room nothing else is needed, very clean and loud sound. The bluetooth works out of the box with my desktop computer, which BTW runs Ubuntu 24.04, connecting my desktop PC audio to its loudspeakers without any hassle, very convenient for the videocalls and good enough for work meetings, but not really great sound to listen to music via Bluetooth, the quality on this mode is not very high. Remote control works very well to increase volume or change modes from my desk, but it's a small room and I didn't test it in larger rooms. The 45W speakers are more than enough power and surely they will be able to deliver for a bigger space. I put 4 stars because it gets the job done, it has a good sound and quality is more than acceptable for the low price tag. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a HiFi but still want to have a radio/CD/bluetooth, this is probably one of the cheapest you can but without regretting it. But always bear in mind: it's a cheap option. If you are really looking for high sound quality, you will need to look for more expensive equipment, not this.

Very good value system
Being honest, I wasn't expecting this to be quite as good as it turned out to be! Very easy to connect up and the DAB radio will auto search and find stations. I bought it mainly to play CDs and for the Bluetooth connectivity. It easily connects to both my iPhone and MacBook and you also get a proper CD player, with a drawer. The sound quality is very good. I don't suppose true audiophiles would fully approve but most would-be purchasers will be happy. It's certainly more than loud enough for my small lounge. I would say the sound is warm and full, though any opinion is of course, subjective. There is a selection of equaliser presets but what really sets it apart is the ability to alter (raise and lower) both bass and treble independently from the remote control. Not something that all systems in this price bracket have. In addition, if used for playing music files via Bluetooth, there is also the ability to change sound settings on your device. As for its appearance, the system is well finished with wooden speaker cabinets and a metal player. It has a pleasant uncomplicated style that should appeal to many. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.

Nice system!
Happy with my purchase, it arrived pretty much on time due to bad weather conditions. Have it set up and it sounds and looks good. Great to be able to play my CD's.

Badly let down by Sharp
The cd drawer pushed a cd deep into the interior of the player. I did manage to retrieve it - but the same happened again and the player no longer functions. Attempts to find support on the Sharp site proved fruitless owing to a non-functioning relay of menu options. I would advise people to steer clear of this item. Excellent quality sound, yes, but badly designed equipment and inadequate support system.

Value for money.
Good value for money. Great digital radio and cd player. Bluetooth connected without issues. Compact enough to be on a unit. Sound is okay.

Bon produit, le plus c'est le réglage des graves et des aigues indépendant.

Klarar även mina gamla egenkopierade musik-CDn! Lite väl korta, 1 m, högtalarsladdar bara (men man kan väl inte få allt till det låga priset)
