Yes it will. I have used this part many times on Chevy transmission shift linkage at the transmission. Its a pain in the butt to install. It helps to use a little vasoline

What I did was grind off the nipple and drilled a hole through the shifter, The other ones I bought just fell off drill the linkage mine has been on about 6 months get a 10/ 24 machine screw it works a lot better then those plastic fittings it is up to you.
