This genuine OEM replacement Hayward Side Mount Multi-Port Valve is designed for use with S200 and S240 Hayward sand filters. This 1.5-Inch, 6-position, Side Mount Multi-Port Valve is used to change between filter functions such as filter, backwash and circulate. Includes two union connectors for connecting to S200 series sand filters. Fits Hayward Filter Models: S200 and S240. Hayward Model: SPX0710X32. Review: Great but takes a while to break in - Works as intended. But leaked to the waste. Luckily I have a valve on the waste side because of previous valve leaking issues. The valve comes on the neutral position (between settings) so I surmise that the valve plate and the seal surfaces have to adapt to one another Is OEM hayward so its not as if it is a Billy Bob replacement. Check you chlorinator and be sure to prevent a contamination of chlorine to this valve. Great but takes a while to break in

Perfectly matched, the plastic oring was not there I used the old one, also I used silicon to seal this.
