Stuff works like magic. Whether rust stain is 5 days old or 5 years.

Amazing product worth every penny
This stuff blew my expectations out of the water. Made it so so easy to clean out house fence rocks and concrete! No scrubbing required at all just rinse after. Before and after attached

Great product
Bought several other products which failed at removing rust/stains from pavers. No drying required. Apply, wait as instructed, a bit of a brush, then wash off. I found really tough spots disappeared on the 2nd application. Hardly recommend!

Worked great on vinyl fence.
We had tried many products to clean the white vinyl fence at the front of our property that had grown brownish-orange from the iron in our well water (irrigation system). I saw this product in a Google search and read about it extensively. Much to my amazement it worked as advertised: I sprayed it on the fence and the rust started to dissolve by itself. It just took a light washing with the pressure washer to clean up the rest of the job. It also seems to help loosen up the mildew when you're doing the pressure washing as well.Concrete is another story. The reviews of different people have varying reactions to this and I think the reason is that if you have general rust discoloration it seems to work pretty well and like some say you don't see the change until after it has dried then you see that the discoloration has disappeared. However, for individual rust spots, maybe from nails that have rusted and left a stain on the concrete, it doesn't seem to work that well. I've experimented with leaving the liquid on the area for different periods of time and then using the pressure washer. Still only seeing slight improvement. So it depends on the type of rust stain that you have on the concrete. But I agree you don't see the change on the concrete until it has dried.Hope this helps. We are thrilled we found this product for our fence and siding. We thought we were might have to replace the fence prior to finding Rid o Rust.

Worked perfectly on my very rusty fiberglass shower
My home is on a well and my fiberglass shower had sections almost as yellow/gold as the 5 stars I have given this product. If I went for over two weeks without hand cleaning, it took two hours to (mostly) get rid of the rust looking residue.I received Rid O'Rust on a day when it was at its worse. I sprayed the shower, waited 20 minutes and 70% was gone. I rinsed and applied more to the sections that had not been cleared off. 20 minutes later, they were gone also. No scrubbing or other action was necessary - just a rinse with the hand held shower head. What I noticed was that the area not cleared on the first application was not cleared at all. This product does not seem to reduce the areas of stain - it's either cleared or not cleared. However, as stated, a second application removed all. What I didn't realize that the rust had accumulated on areas of the shower that I didn't, at first, see. I was only after I cleared away the majority of the stain that I was able to see the additional rust. It only took another application to bring the entire shower to snowy white.I read the reviews before purchasing - I always read the 1-starโ reviews first - I have no idea of why the product didn't work for them. All I know is that the fiberglass shower that I used this product on is as white as when it was new.

A lot depends on the situation
I was looking for a way to remove rust stains from the frame of my aluminum stom door - left by steel screws that rusted in place and stained the powdercoat. I got aluminum replacement screws, and hoped to use the RidORust to remove the stains before re-installing. The product did not work on the rust stains in my door frame. I poured a little RidORust into a bowl and applied generously using a soaked cloth, and made 4 applications. It may have lightened a bit, but the stains are still there. So I tossed the rusty screws into the solution. The next day, the rusty screws looked LIKE NEW. I may not have had enough patience on the door frame applications, but then I don't have scads of time, either. It may also be that I couldn't keep the vertical outdoor surface wet with it for long enough, or that the powdercoat would never have yielded to the solution. I'd love to hear of any ideas to keep the product from drying on vertical surface longer so it has time to work. Still, I can see that the product does work and I'll have many other applications for it!

Rods lighter rust stains best
Donโt need to scrub. Lightens darker rust and rids lighter rust stains. Very acidic so wear gloves and keep your hose nearby to rinse off. Test it first!
